Chapter 6

Still Nick's Point Of View

"Sara! We're here!" I said as I shook her shoulder gently

"What?" She mumbled opening her eyes slowly, her eyes widened as realisation hit her then she sat straight quickly and fixed her hair as she said "Right! Let's go!"

I chuckled at her actions "You better be a good actress cause I've no intentions to get embarrassed"

"Don't worry! You'll give me an Oscar after we finish" She joked

I laughed lightly "Great! Now let's go!" I said as I slipped out of the car and she did the same, I ran to her side and held her hands then intertwined our fingers together, she didn't seem to flinch at my touch and she didn't even look at our hands which was strange but I think she expected it like we were fake dating. Her hands were so small and soft compared to mine and I have to admit our hands fit perfectly together. Damn! I have to stop thinking like that!

We walked towards my mother's house holding hands and as usual Mom, Robin, Steven, Kevin and Jerry were all waiting us at the porch "Who's that dirty blond guy over there?" Sara asked looking at Kevin then back at me

"That's Kevin my stepbrother, Why?"

"Cause he's checking me out and I'm supposedly your girlfriend so...."

"Already noticed! Don't worry!"

"Ok!" She said looking back in front of her.

We reached the porch where everyone was waiting and Mom pulled me into a hug "I missed you!" She said as she pulled away

"I missed you too, Mom"

"You didn't introduce that pretty" She smirked looking at Sara then back at me

"You didn't give me a chance" I rolled my eyes "Anyway this is Sara my girlfriend" I pointed at Sara "Sara this is Mom, Robin her husband" I pointed at Mom then at Robin "Steven and Kevin my stepbrothers and Jerry my brother" I pointed at Steven, Kevin and Jerry.

"Hi!" Sara said awkwardly

"Oh my god! Nick! She is so ho-" Kevin started but I cut him off "Yes, and she's mine so, you better back off"

"Kevin! Behave!" Mom shouted "Excuse him, darling. you know boys" Mom rolled her eyes "I'm Marina by the way" Mom smiled offering her hand for Sara, Sara took her hand "Nice to meet you, Marina" She smiled and before Mom could reply Robin asked
"Shall we get inside?"

"Oh! Sure" Mom said as she led us inside the house.

We stayed in the living room chatting and catching up with Mom making Sara feel awkward, Kevin flirting with her the whole time and I faking jealousy or mostly not faking I actually did feel a little jealous and hoped that Sara didn't notice.

After what seemed like forever Mom said she was cooking dinner and Sara offered to help so, they both disappeared into the kitchen.

"I never thought you would end up with a girl like this" Kevin commented

"You underestimate me" I smirked

"Seriously! Man! She's so amazing! How did you get her? I thought you were terrible with girls"

"Told ya you underestimate me"

"She has a great-" Kevin started but I stopped him "Can you stop talking about my girlfriend inappropriately?" I shouted
