Sara's Point Of View
It's 6:45 which means there's exactly 15 minuets before my shift ends and before Nick picks me up, I don't actually know where we're going but he said that he's taking me on a date and that it's a surprise.
"Hey!" A familiar voice says making me look up from the counter I'm currently cleaning.
"Mark!" I smile "Hi! How are you?"
"I'm fine and you?"
"I'm good" I say, there's a short pause "You wanna say something?" I raise my eyebrows.
"Yeah, I need your help since you're the only girl I know here" He shrugs.
"What kind of help do you exactly want?"
"Well, There's this girl I met in college who I really like" He stops.
"And?" I press.
"And she isn't really in to all the bad boy vibe that I have like she doesn't even look my way and I don't know what to do" He sighs.
"Have you ever talked to her?"
"Yes, Once and she totally ignored me afterwards"
"Maybe she likes you?"
"I said she doesn't even look my way" He runs a hand through his hair "How the hell does she like me?"
"Girls sometimes ignore their crush in fear of making it obvious or embarrassing themselves" I explain.
"So, you think she likes me?"
"Well, Maybe and maybe she really doesn't like bad boys"
"And what the hell should I do?"
"You really like her, huh?" I tease.
"Obviously" He huffs.
"Chill, mate" I chuckle.
"Come on tell me what should I do?" He pleads.
"Just ask her out" I shrug.
"And what if she rejects me?"
"You'll never know unless you try"
"But-"
"No buts!" I cut him off "Just ask her out"
"Sara, I'm almost sure she will reject me"
"Why you saying that?"
"Because she's that good girl, I mean she's too good for me"
"Good girls fall for bad boys" I smile She really got him whipped "Just ask her out"
"And if it didn't work?" He raises his eyebrows.
"If didn't work I'll come with another plan, don't worry" I smile reassuringly at him.
"Okay" He smiles "Thank you, really thank you" He hugs me from behind the counter.
"No problem, just tell me how it goes"
"Will do" He waves at me before leaving and just after he leaves Nick appears magically on the stool next to the one he was sitting on.
"Aren't you supposed to be working?" Nick asks clearly annoyed or maybe jealous.
I glance at the clock to find that my shift is over "Well, I missed you too" I get my apron off and make my way around the counter so I'm standing next to him "And No, my shift is over"
"Sorry" He mumbles as he pecks my lips "What was he doing here?"
"Who? Mark?" I play dumb.
"Yeah!"
