Sara's Point Of View

I put the last layer of lip gloss and then I'm ready to the concert, I take one last look at reflection and smile in satisfaction I then take a look at the time and find that's 6:55 which means that Nick will be here in five minuets so, I pick my purse and make my way downstairs.

Once I'm downstairs I hear the familiar voice of my mother coming from the kitchen "You think I don't know, huh?"

"Know what?" My father's voice asks rather calmly.

"About Sophia"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"Really?" Mom yells "You know exactly what I'm taking about"

"No, I don't" Dad says still calm but it was always like that Mom would lose it and yell while dad would just stay calm and cold, It was always like that whenever they had an argument.

Of course you're wondering who is Sophia, Right?

Okay, let me tell you she's my father's new fling.

How did I know?

Well, I may or may not have caught them together before.

Does dad know that I know?

No.

Did I tell mom?

No.

Why?

Because I knew she will know sooner or later, it's not the first time after all.

"What are you doing here?" Dad's voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing"

"You have nothing to do with what you heard" Dad informs me rather sternly.

"I know"

My phone goes off and Nick's name flashes across the screen indicating that he's here.

"I gotta go" I tell dad as I walk towards the front door.

"Don't have so much fun" Dad calls after me.

"I'm not you" I shoot back before slamming the front door shut.

"Hey!" Nick pecks my lips once I slip in the passenger's seat.

"Hi!"

"Ready to see your favorite band?" He starts the car.

"More like ready to ditch you" I smirk.

"Really?" He raises his eyebrows.

"Yup!" I nod.

"We'll see, then" He smirks confidently, we then fall in silence and I can't help but think about my parents' fight and of course my mind goes from their fight to that day three years ago, memories flash in front of my eyes and no matter how hard I try to keep them away they always come back.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Nick asks.

I shake my head slightly "Nothing"

"Sara, you're crying" He informs me.

"What?" I touch my cheek to find it indeed wet "I'm fine" I wipe my tears quickly.

He sighs as he pulls over "What's wrong?" He turns to me.

"I'm just..." I pause as memories flash again "Please just drop it" I squeeze my eyes shut.

"Babe, it helps to talk" He takes my hand in his giving it a squeeze.
