The English Project

Chapter 4

"Sara" I turned around and it was Dad. Great! all I need!

"Dad! Hi!" I said awkwardly

"Why are you late?"

"Dad, I'm not late it's 7:30"

"Your shift finishes at 7"

"Yeah! I went to the park"

"OK! Don't do it again!"

"Sorry!" I said then turned to take the stairs when Dad's voice stopped me "Yeah! And take some time off because we're going to England next week"

No way in hell! I'm not going back to England! And he knows it!

I turned around and asked "England? Why?"

"To visit our friends their"

"Oh! Ok! But I can't come I've school" buy it, please! Please!

"You'll be on your break" He raised his eyebrow. That's gonna be hard!

"Yeah! But I have to work on that project and it has 50% of my grades" That was a good one! Wish he will buy it!

"Really? Ok! But I want a proof!" He smirked. I know that smirk it isn't good!

"Proof? How?"

"Don't know but I'm not convinced"

"What if my partner told you?" Damn! What did I say Nick would never do anything to me but I'm good at begging.

"That sounds good"

"Ok! Good night!" I ran up the stairs and to my room, I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling, I know this is gonna be hard and I'll have to owe Nick who hates me by the way but not going back to England is completely worth it cause simply I don't wanna go back there now and I don't think I'll ever want.

One Week Later...

Today is the last day before the break and the day when we read our essays in class, I had planed on asking Nick for the favor after class and hopefully he'll agree.

I was sitting in class waiting for Edward and Janet to finish reading their essays so we can read ours.

"Thanks, Janet. Now Sara it's your turn" Mr. Nelson said as Janet walked back to her seat, I walked to the front with my essay then began reading "Nick literally hates everyone in school, he probably thinks that we're all fake and not real, he's not judgmental at all but he judges people in here and this is probably why he's an outcast besides the fact that he chose to, he just thinks that we're not worth his friendship, that we're all acting and hiding our real evil characters behind our acts but I'm sure something happened made him think that way and I'm sure that he's hiding his real character too but not because he's a fake but because he doesn't want us around" I smiled confidentiality then continued "And I'm going to show his real character exactly like how I'm going to know why he hates us." I looked at Nick to see his eyes widen in shock but recovered quickly when he caught my eyes. See? Told ya I can read people!
