I woke up feeling really refreshed today was prom. I was really excited and I had to go and pick my dress up from the alteration part of the boutique ad then go and get my hair and make-up done with April. I showered and shaved then changed into a pair of sweats and a t-shirt that says 'lol ur not cameron dallas'. Fangirl moment, I know.

I pulled on my converse and grabbed my bag and called a cab. I got into my uber and told the driver the address. I tried and picked up my dress and then went back home and hung it up along with my shoes and bag and lay my underwear onto my bed.

I then met April outside the salon and we walked into together and we were directed to our seats. My hair was done first it was curled and pulled into a side bun with loose curls framing my face. The hairdresser sprayed it with hairspray and the started on my make-up. My make-up was a shimmery black, brown and gold smokey eye with nude lips and false eyelashes as well as the usual make-up. Once we were both finished we left and went to my house to get ready. When we arrived April's parents car was outside so they must already be here.

We ran upstairs so they didn't see us and lay on my bed for a while. It was 5:25 and the the boys were coming at 5:45 we started to get ready by preparing our bags and dancing around to music like idiots. I sprayed hairspray on my face and on my hair to keep everything in place then we decided to get ready. We helped each put our dresses on and we both just stared at each other and smiled at how beautiful we looked.

"Girls the boys are here." We slipped on our shoes, sprayed some perfume, picked up our bags and took a selfie and opened my bedroom door to walk downstairs. As we were walking downstairs our dads were talking to Reece and Brooklyn about how to behave with their daughters. You know the drill. Everyone's attention turned to us as we walked and our mother's started crying. I giggled and we walked to Reece and Brooklyn. The both smiled and Brooklyn took my hand.

"Picture time" my mum called and I groaned. "Oh shut up you get your picture taken for a living" she chuckled and I smiled. I got my picture alone, then with Brooklyn, then with April, the with Reece and then all together. The same happened for everybody else.

"Finally ready to go" I smiled.

"No" my mum said. "One with your dad, then one with me, then one with imogen, then one with me and your dad then all of us" I rolled my eyes.

"You have to be kidding me" I chuckled.

"No, now come on" And the same happened for April. "Now you can go" She smiled. I held on to Brooklyn's hand and we left to get in the limo.

"You look beautiful" he muttered into my ear causing me to blush. He pushed a piece of hair of my face that had fallen when I looked down. "I love it when you blush" he chuckled. I smiled and we started to drive to prom.

When we arrived at room it was stunning. There was drapes hanging from the curtains and around the windows. There were large round tables with centre pieces in the middle and chair covers with bows wrapped around. There was also a photobooth along with a buffet and a congratulations cake.

All and all I was having a great night I had danced with my best friends and taken some crazy selfies. Memories that I will treasure forever.

"Grab your dates it's the last dance of the night, lets take it down a little" The dj started to play M Everything by Ariana Grande.

"You coming" Brooklyn smiled putting his hand out. I smiled and took his hand as he lead me to the dance floor. He placed his hands around my waist and I put mine around his neck. We swayed and just created small talk. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you are up close" He smiled.

"Everythings uglier up close" I said blushing.

"But you" he chuckled at my reference to Paper Towns. "You really are special Eryn" I blushed. "and I wanted to say this for a while but I was scared of what you were going to say but I think I'm-" The song finished and he pulled me out to the balcony. He turned to face me and took both my hands. "I think I'm in love with you" My eyes widened and my mouth slightly parted as I looked up into his beautiful browns eyes and my shook slowly turned into a smile.

"I love you too" I smiled. He smiled and slowly leaned in. His lips brushed against mine and then he pushed them onto mine and fireworks exploded literally. Call it cliche. This kiss was so much different to any previous kisses with anyone. It was special and it was one my lips longed for. It was pretty amazing. He pulled away and smiled at me.

"I've waited so long to do that, but to do that properly."

"Me too" He held my hand and we both turned to face the fireworks where everyone was watching from below.
