Kaito led his reunited twin sister around the ground floor first. But he was more anxious to let her see the upstairs. Pushing away his anxiousness, Kaito quietly led her up the stairs. Once in the hallway of the second floor, Kaito walked past a door, but Kazumi stopped in front of it.

When Kaito didn't sense his baby sister behind him, he turned around. In the middle of calling her name, he noticed why she stopped. His heart sunk to seeing the sadness on her face.

Kazumi stopped walking when she noticed a door with her name printed in pink at the top. It was the second door into the hallway. The letters were still as good new, but she could see that the door had hardly been opened.

She looked down to the handle of the bedroom door and slowly turned it. Kazumi didn't have to look to see that Kaito was now stood beside her, and with his presence she felt safer.

With a little push, the door opened to reveal dark shaped silhouettes. Kaito reached in and flipped the light switch. Having the darkness suddenly dissappear to reveal a now brightened room, Kazumi grimaced as she covered her eyes.

After a moment of getting used to the light, Kazumi removed her arm from her eyes. She regretted it instantly. The sight before her was too heartbreaking.

The room was surrounded by light pink wallpaper, obviously showing that it belonged to a little girl. In the corner was a cot with a soft pink mattress. Over the headboard of the white framed cot, was the letter 'K' in plum.

In the other corner was a white framed rocking chair with a white laced cushion placed against the back. Beside the chair was a white couch, with a few teddies huddled in the centre. A birch wooded wardrobe and chest of drawers was placed up against the opposite wall, giving plenty of room for a baby to play on the soft, thick white carpet.

Kaito stepped into the room and gestured for her to follow which she did. He turned to face the room before them. "Mom and dad didn't want to change the room because they were afraid of forgetting you if they did." He explained softly.

He walked closer to the cot and placed his hand on the frame. Kaito looked to the couch and showed a sad smile. "Mom and dad would sometimes bring me in here and read me bed time stories, in hope to remind me of actually not being an only child. It worked because I never forgot about you, but it was just too painful to mention to people."

Tears fell from Kazumi's eyes to hearing that. So this was the love that she missed out on. She never got a chance to even know her father before he died and that was all thanks to... Kazumi clenched her hands into fists, wishing that every single Magpie member was dead now.
"How long have you kept that poker face of yours?" Kaito asked, drawing her out of her thoughts.

She looked to him confused. "My... what?"

Kaito chuckled. He walked over to her and cupped her cheek, wiping away tears that she was unaware that had fallen. He leant down to become eye level with her. "Your poker face."

"What's a poker face?" Kazumi asked again, even more confused to hearing a strange name.

"A poker face is a type of shield if you like. It hides away your true emotion so that people don't actually know what you are really feeling." He explained softly. "Dad taught me it when I was little, he said that it's the most important part to being a great magician."

Kazumi looked to the white carpet and sighed. All this time she had always worn a poker face, something that her father taught Kaito to use. Maybe he was still teaching her from the other side, watching and guiding her to be strong through the tough times in her life.
