When Kazumi turned up to her class, she could hear the teacher discussing something, though she was too pissed off to take into account what she was talking about. And as she didn't want to go in with a face like thunder, Kazumi slammed on her poker face before knocking gently on the door.
The teacher's words silenced before footsteps were heard approaching the door. The door slid open to reveal Ayase-Sensei, who's eyes widened to seeing her newest student out of class. "Kuroba-chan, why are you late? Did you get lost?" She asked, concerned.
Kazumi only gave a nod, "Yeah, something like that."
Ayase-Sensei gave her another look of concern before sighing and standing aside so Kazumi could walk to her seat. "All right, but try not to be late again." As Kazumi was walking through the classroom, Ayase-Sensei looked towards the twin brother and the cousin of her late student. "Kuroba-kun, Kudo-kun, may either of you take Kuroba-chan for another tour around the school, just so she doesn't have the risk of getting lost again."
Kaito just raised an eyebrow, "She's got to be joking. Kazumi was here before she was."
Shinichi on the other hand was more pliant to the instruction than his cousin, "Yep, we'll do it during lunch."
Ayase-Sensei nodded, "Good. Make sure you do." As she was about to slide the door closed, Hakuba walked up to it, surprising her. "Oh, Hakuba-kun! When did you get back from England?"
Hakuba smiled to her as he stepped inside the classroom, sliding the door closed behind him. "Yesterday evening. I promise I'll catch with anything that I have missed in my absence."
Ayase-Sensei smiled a little, seeing his dedication to learning. "That is good to hear. I'll let you off for being late today, but make sure you don't do it again."
Hakuba gave a small bow of the head to her, "Of course, Ayase-Sensei."
The teacher turned away, beginning to make her way over to her desk, "Now get to your seat, Hakuba-kun, the rest of your peers are waiting to continue on with the lesson."
Again, Hakuba nodded, walking at a steady pace towards his seat. As he did so however, he became aware of how his seat was two seats away from Kazumi's on the back row. But that was also when he noticed how the female twin was absently staring out of the window, face turned away from the rest of the class.
Though he was hurt by her accusations, he couldn't help but question why they had had that encounter in England. What was she doing there alone? Though she had said that she was looking for her family, but that could of meant a few things. Was her family in England as well as her and she just happened to stroll away without them knowing? No, that definitely couldn't have been the case because she had spent more than half of that day with him, which he then took her to her hotel room at the end of their night. Though that could have been her family's shared hotel room, but if that were so, then Kaito and Kazumi would have had to sleep in different rooms because of their age, so they would need to be separated. Unless there were multiple rooms in that one suit, which was also highly unlikely because the rooms next to it weren't that much distance away to be large family suits. So that was definitely out of the question. So the only other reason that he could come up with was that Kazumi was alone in England, maybe traveling (which he doubted as Kazumi seemed too determined to a purpose that she had set in mind. She was fixed, her mind filled with a specific goal.) But travelers didn't behave in that way. What he was definitely sure of was that Kazumi had a lot of combat training in her life, even if she hasn't presented much to him personally, he could see the stoic and dangerous look in her eyes when she held him in that collar hold, both in England and here. She was swift in her movements, as if her body was always ready for an ambush.
