A Night To Remember

"Right this way" that waiter said. We followed him to a table in the back of the restaurant. I looked over to Luke with a questioning glance and he shrugged his shoulders with a tiny smile on his lips.

I continued following the waiter to the table and we soon came to a door. He pushed it open and there, in the middle of the room was a beautifully decorated table, with candles and flower petals surrounding the chairs.

"Luke" I breathed out. I covered my cheeks in disbelief as he led me to the table.

" I-I hope it's not too much, I just..... I wanted to make it special for you" he said blushing. He pulled out my chair for me to sit and pushed it in once I sat down.

"Luke, it's all so beautiful, thank you so much" I said still in awe.
As he sat down I reached for his hand that lay on top of his napkin. I held his hand in mine as I said what I had been planing the whole car ride here.
" you seem like such a cool guy Luke, but don't you think it's a little unfair to Mikey or cal, who both-lets be honest- seem interested in me ?"

"Yeah" he said holding my hand a little tighter like if I might leave.

"So, I'll go on a date with each of you, and I'll see who I like best. But Luke ? I don't think I can ever thank you enough for this... Everything is truly so beautiful" i said.

"Your welcome Jay, and... I think that's fair. I'm just glad k took you on the first date, the first ones are always the ones people remember most" he said with a wink. I just laughed and let go of Luke's hand so I could drink some water. He pouted and I chuckled and he dramatically started holding his own hand.

When I put down my water he raised an eyebrow.

"My hand is not going to hold itself 'Ya know" he said.

"I think you've gotten enough affection for now... Let's look at he menu instead, I'm starving"

"Thank god you said your starving, I didn't want to seem pushy and say it. And, there's no need to look at a menu, I had a meal planned out for us" he said, his words rambling on a little.

"Luke, stop trying to act so perfect for me, we're both humans that get hungry" i laughed. He blushed red and for a minute I felt bad.

" but thanks for trying so hard to impress me. I'm really enjoying this" I said, brushing my fingers against the top of his hand. He immediately smiled and grabbed my hand.

"D- do you want to um, dance ? I can have the people play some slow songs... Only if you want to though" he said.

"I'd love to dance" I said. He called over the waiter and whispered something in his ear I couldn't hear. A couple minutes after the waiter left, one of my favorite slow songs, Fur Elise by Beethoven.

"How did you know this is my favorite slow song?" I said.

"I might have asked a little birdie... No biggie. Now, let's dance." He said smiling with confidence as he stood up, walked in front of my chair and Bowed. I laughed and took is hand as we danced slowly around our table.

"I've always wanted this... A classy date with a pretty girl" Luke said. I couldn't help the small blush that's crept onto my cheeks.

"This date is way more then I even asked for, it's perfect" I said.

As he spun me one final time he leaned forward and kissed me. I stopped spinning but my head still felt like I was. I pulled away and saw Luke blushing like crazy.

"C'mon, let's go sit" I said, still dizzy from the kiss. As we sat down I couldn't have felt so happy, it seemed like I had already made my choice of who I wanted. But that isn't fair, I had to be even.

As he opened my door I smiled and got out of the car.

"Thank you Luke,  for such an awesome night." I said

"No, thank you for being there to accompany me" he said. I hugged him and he gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Bye Luke" I said smiling and waving as I walked to the door of my apartment.

"Bye Jay " he said as I closed the door and leaned against it. I sighed, it was such a beautiful date... Was that even a correct sentence ? I don't know,my head was still spinning, not from the kiss, but from everything. I got in the elevator and I almost fell asleep as it rose to my floor. I got out and sleepily opened the door.

"How was your date with Luke?" Elle asked as soon as she saw me. I should have known he would tell Elle about it.

"It was... Beautiful, amazing, wonderful..." I sighed. She rolled her eyes at my love struck appearance as she brought me into a hug.

"I wasn't all lonely here either" she whispered into my ear. I liked over to the couch to see popcorn in a bowl.

"Ashton! Get your butt out here !" She slightly screamed. Ashton jogged into the room.

"Oh hey there Jay" he said and smiled so his dimples showed.

"Well I'm exhausted I'm going to bed" I said. They both said goodnight And I headed to my room. I changed into pajamas and set Fur Elise for 20 minutes on my phone. I wanted to fall asleep listening to the song me and Luke danced to tonight. I closed my eyes as the song started and I drifted off to sleep.
