Chapter 9

* Matt's POV *

"What's wrong Matt?" Sarah asked.

"What?" I said blinking

"You were staring for a long time. Is everything all right?" Sarah asked worried.

"Oh uh yea I'm fine." I say smiling.

I was worried about Sarah that was the problem.

I never knew she would do something like that. I guess I was wrong.

"Hey uh Sarah?" I asked.

"Yea?" Sarah said eating panckaed she made for breakfeast

"Can I ask you a question?" I ask

"2 actually." I continued

"Sure." She said grabbing the cereal box.

"Umm first why did you start wearing headphones ever day? And why did you cut yourself.?" I asked slowly.

"Uh I started wearing headphones everyday because they were my only escape from the world and I started cuttkng because ummm I dont know I guess I couldn't take the pain anymore or it was because of...." Sarah said slowly but drifted off.

"Jordan...?" I finished

"Yea him...." Sarah continued for me.

"Oh......I was just asking." I said giving a small smile.

"It's alright." Sarah said smiling back.

"Well since its officially the first day of our summer, let's start it off at Starbucks." I said standing up.

"Arent you gonna shower first?" Sarah said laughing

I love her laugh

"Yea I have to head to my house and get some clothes" I said chuckling a little.

"I'll come with you." Sarah said getting up from her seat.

We walked next door and went into my room.

"Imma shower I'll meet you here in a few." Sarah said and left.

"Ok." I just said

* Sarah's POV *

I got out of the shower and decided to put something comfortable for me. So I decided to put on my galaxy sweater on that I bought for myself which was large in men so it could be baggy and through on some black leggings and put on my black converse.

I walked out and went into Matt's house. I went into Matt's room, he wasnt in there so I assume that he hasn't gotten out of the shower yet.
I laid on his bed and got on my phone and started playing jelly jump.

I was getting bored so I just laid on my stomache and put my face in the pillow and started thinking.

About five minutes later I felt something on my head but I ignored it. I had ear buds in and I couldn't hear any thing. Then someone pulled my ear buds out. I turned around and instantly I feel Matt's lips on mine. At first I was shocked but then I kissed back.

"Hey." Matt said once he pulled away smiling.

"Hi there." I said smiling.

"Looks like we're matching today." Matt said looking down on my body.I forgot he was still hovering over my body.I but my lip from laughing.

"Hey let's go to movies instead of Starbucks." Matt said locking eyes with me.

"Alright." I said trying to slide away under Matt.

"Where are you in a rush for?" Matt asked smirking

"I want to go see the movie." I said attempting again to slip, but failed.

"It's not now, the movie I picked starts in a hour." Matt said.

"Fine." I said and rolled to my side and starting thinking again.

*at the movies*

The movies was over. It was a cute movie called Goosebumps.

Matt and I were at the arcade in the movies and a girl enters.

"Matty!!!" She says and hugs him.

"Oh uh hey Janie." Matt says awkwardly and not hugging back.

I felt kind of heart broken and I didn't know why.

"Who's this?" The girl asks pointing at me.

Matt smiles and the girl notice and glared at me.

"Sarah" Matt said.

"Does she know I'm your girlfriend Matty?" The girl said smirking at me.

Girlfriend ?

"Girlfriend?" Me and Matt say in shocked.

I let out a whimper and walked out the movies crying.

I felt like I just died in side. I can't stand being broken by guys I just can't trust them anymore.

I thought I could trust Matt...I thought wrong.
