"What?" I gasped. I pressed Agrawal's arm to indicate him to say something. 'React Agrawal.' I thought.

"No I mean it's going to be his birthday he was planning out everything and.." He started but stopped. Tears dreading to fall from my eyes. I ran out of that room. That's what I was always good at running. I covered my mouth with my hand.

"Doctor says there are chances that he will survive." Mr. Agrawal said from behind me. I groaned. 'I didn't want chances what if he didn't....' I thought and till now my head was blasting and eyes heavy.

"What if... What if..?" I was about to ask when my phone rang. I took out my phone from my purse and looked at the caller I'd. It was Jay's number. I felt Mr. Agrawal looking at it. I turned around and saw that he was looking at the phone and his expression were confused.

"Friend... I have to get it." I told inorder to not make him angry again as he was already tensed about Jake I told him the half truth.

"Kiara. Where are you?" He asked.

"Out." I answered. I still felt Agrawal's eyes on me so I decided to answer in one word.

"Where out?" He asked.

"Somewhere.." I replied. I hoped Jay to not keep on questioning.

"Where somewhere Kiara? You are not helping am already worried about Krystal and you." He told and this even made me a bit worried.

"Jay calm down I am with Jake I will reach home soon. What about Krystal?" I asked worried. From the corner of my eyes I saw Mr. Agrawal's body tense up.

"Kiara... Krystal.. Umm." He asked.

"What's wrong?" I asked Jay.

"Can you come in here I need you." He asked informing the address. I was very much worried.

" I...I don't know.. Jay. I can't come" I told him.

"you don't know Kiara? Your sister is dieing right in here and you don't know?" He asked me.

"Jay..!!" I stopped him. 'Of course I cared for her how could I not?  But what about Jake?' I thought.

"Come here as soon as possible." He told me and hung up. I ran my hand through my hair trying to sober myself.

"I...I." I started to tell Mr. Agrawal facing towards him but before I could say anything he said.

"Leaving? Here it ends the drama of your fake concern for Jake." He told the harshest words I have ever heard. I looked at him dumbfounded.

"Are you kidding me?" I thought out loud.

"No am not... You may leave.. Whatever happens to Jake is none of your concern any ways." He told me. I looked at him with wide eyes.

"If you win the case he is even going to be my..." I was again interrupted by him.

"Don't you dare say the next word. A mother would never leave his kid on a death bed." His words hit me like a slap.

"You may leave and whore around. Your toy boy seems to be very impatient." He told me looking towards my phone which was ringing again.

"How dare you?" I walked closer to him.

"Don't... Just..  Just... Stay away." With that he left me all by myself in the middle of nowhere. He had never been this pissed. He was always there to back answer to show his anger in some or the other way. He had never been so quite.

Silence was really the loudest cry and I was the culprit. I answered the call.

"Kiara where the fuck are you... It's getting bad. Krystal...!!!" He shouted.

"Jay... What happened... Jay.." I asked shouting but no one was there on the other side.

"Fuck." I said and ran outside the hospital. I really hoped Krystal was alright. Krystal and Jake both where equally important to me. Losing any one of them meant losing a part of me.

Shutting my train of thoughts I half ran half walked out of the hospital as fast as I could.

"Taxi." I shouted. It took me few minutes to find a taxi and than the traffic. It was killing me as each and every second passed by. It was very difficult. I got down from the taxi and as fast as I could I took the metro. Within 45 minutes I was outside the club Jay asked me to be at. I tried calling him he wasn't answering my call.

After a few minutes he called back.

"Jay where are you?" I asked urgently.

"Where are you?" He asked with same urgency.

"Am outside the club." I told him.

"Come near the back door of the club."  He told me and in the dark corner I heard someone puke and others panicking. I ran towards Jay as soon as he came to sight.

"What's wrong?" I asked. I saw Krystal vomiting.

"She seems drunk take her home... You shouldn't have called me." With that I was about to leave.

"Kiara when did you became so heartless. Look at her she is being vomiting from a while, gasping for air and scratching that bad that she is like about to draw blood." Jay shouted.

"Give that." Krystal told Cai and Cai handed her a white tetra pack. I saw Krystal gulp something white.

"What the fuck?" I told and threw the bottle away. I made Krystal turn towards me. I couldn't see her properly due to dark.

"What the fuck are you guys doing?" I asked looking towards Cai.

"She said that milk is the solution of her disease." He told.

"Oh my god.. How much of that milk did she drank?" I asked Cai.

"Two tetra packs." He told me.

"Fuck... She is lactose intolerant." I informed and Krystal pucked again. After she was done I turned Krystal to face me.

"What the hell were you doing?" I asked her. Everyone in the family Infact everyone in out village knew that Krystal was allergic to milk as no one in our village was allergic to milk and when I was small I even use to be jealous of Krystal that she didn't have to drink milk as she was allergic where as I was forced to drink milk as it was healthy.

"Pass on the milk." Krystal said looking towards Cai.

"Have you lost your mind?" I asked her.

"Please Kiara..  Let me die."
