45. Performance

"You must have said 'I love you's' to each other like zillion times.. It should be easy for you." One of Mr. Agrawal's employees said. I was looking at my feet. 'I wish I could say the truth.' I thought.

"Ya.. But It have to be very impressive." I told her trying to convince more to myself.

"Hey come up with anything?" Rina asked walking towards me.

"Yes but I will need your help." I told Rina. She gave me a confused look then I told her the plan and she instantly agreed.

Mr. Agrawal and rest everyone were drinking enjoying the party.

"Ladies and gentleman take your seat or positions as we are about to start with the performances." The anchor announced and then the anchor made me and Mr. Agrawal
Sit right in front of the stage.

First came on the stage was Steffi in typical Indian saree. She started dancing and I was surprised seeing her dance on a Bollywood song so well. There were claps around as she danced gracefully then joined in her husband though her husband didn't seem that good in dance due to him being heavy built and stiff but still the performance was over all rocking.

"This one is for Kiara..." Said the anchor and the lights went off and then in focus was Jay. 'Finally he gonna dance.' I thought.

Jay was stiff as well but he danced much better with his partner and Cai with his partner very well. Thought majority of the dance Jay did was to lift the girl and the girl who was Mr. Agrawal's cousin danced gracefully.

I was so happy Jay danced for me. The slow song they danced on ended right after 2 minutes. There was a round of claps around
And a smile on my face. I stood and walked towards Jay and hugged him tight.

"Omg that was super." I said him. Him being so so bad at dance and me losing all the hopes that he would ever dance, he danced surprisingly very well.

"Thank you." He whispered his body stiff on my tight hug.

"Thank you ..you did so much for me." I said happily looking in his eyes but arms still around him. He removed my arms.

"Kiara I want to talk to you right now." Jay said worriedly.

"What's the rush Jay.. Move.. Clear the stage." Krystal said shooing him.

"Yeah even I have lots to talk to you about after this party let's meet." I said impatiently waiting for the next performance. Anchor again bored with her non-humorous jokes and announced the next performance for me and Aarav.

Came in stage were Rey and Rina. I cheered them shouting their name aloud.

"Kiara listen.. Just one minute I gotta talk.." Jay started but Krystal pulled him to above the stage.

There were "Woah" around seeing them. I kinda had feeling that they had some kind of past.

Jay all did was mostly stand and some lifts again which were guided by Krystal. I felt something going on between them. Krystal mostly covered up the entire dance with her sweet smile, awesome figure looks and flexibility.

On the other hand Rey and Rina were just unexpectedly awesome. Rey was such a good dancer which I never expected him to be. Okay, honestly I did expect him to dance good as Aarav was great in it. All of Rey's lift and handling Rina and Rina gracefully moving around him. Also the great comfort level and the strong bond between them was visible in their dance. 'How could I never notice earlier that they were perfect for each other. In fact even their name even seemed perfect together. ' I thought.

I was smiling like anything seeing all four of them say there thankyou to the audience and the crowd clapped for them. Mr. Agrawal seemed happy as well as he went and hugged Rey first. I followed Mr.Agrawal and hugged Rey, Rina, Krystal. In fact before I could hug Jay, Krystal pulled him away from the crowd.

"I won't be surprised if they get married just a month after you guys." Rina said. I laughed.

"Yes... Even I won't be." I told.

"They should seriously get together." Rey said.

"Okay guys and girls... Men and pretty women this one is the most most special performance specially for the bride and groom." The anchor announced and came in view Granny.

"What the fuck is she doing there?" Mr.Agrawal said.

"Calm down.. Hold on." I said calming him a bit.

"Seems like she has forgotten her age." Mr. Agrawal said angrily.

"Atleast she seems happy." I told him. Then came in few made me covered my mouth. It was Jake.

"Omg." I said seeing them. Jake and granny both looked really good. Then came in view was Mia and other children a.k.a in laws of Mr.Agrawal of Jake's age and Granny's friends.

I felt like they all together made a great team. Their steps were choreographed simple but yet elegant and beautiful. It was heart touching seeing them dance and be happy for us. Even Jake who just came out of the hospital.

As soon as the performance was over me, Aarav, Rina, Rey, Steffi all of them rushed on stage and appreciated their efforts. Aarav picked up Jake. Steffi and Rina helped the elders to take seat. Rey helped Granny.

I and Aarav left Jake and Mia to play on their own not before kissing them.

"Kiara am ain't Mia." Jake complained while I kissed him.

"But I love you." I said pouting. He signalled me to bent as soon as I bent he kissed my cheek.

"Me too." He said and ran away. I smiled ear to ear. It was a day I always dreamed of.

"Now now.. I am not even going to give you all any clue about what will be coming on stage but I will suggest you guys to hold on your seat tight. Huge round of applause for the last performance." The anchor said and all the lights went off. Like total darkness.
