'All right! A+!' Ferris exclaimed from beside me. 'What did you get, Rob?'

I cringed at the name. 'Ewe. Don't call me that.'

'Fine, fine,' he hummed. 'At least tell me what score you got.'

'A-.'

'Yaaaay!' He jumped high into the air - an action his small and energetic body took no effort in doing. 'I beat Robin! I beat Robin!'

... Because I was in his homeroom, the teacher assigned for him to sit next to me in Math. Annoying. And... Now it means that both of them had math with me.

Ellis sighed. 'Awe, no!'

'What?' I turned around.

He turned his test around, revealing a large "B-" written in large, red symbols across his page. 'And I studied so hard...'

'Hah,' Ferris' eyelids lowered slyly. 'Pretty boy here sucks at math. But, that's to be expected... He doesn't look the smart type, anyways. Too bad, Ellis... Try again next time.'

'Oh?' Ellis tilted his head. 'You remembered my name!'

'I just insulted you,' Ferris frowned. 'Be upset.'

'Well, you called me a pretty boy...' He smiled. 'I don't think I can really take that as an insult.'

My eyes widened. His personality changed in an instant.

'Now, Robin,' Ferris broke into a smile and turned to me. 'Want me to give you some tutoring lessons? I'm super good at teaching. You'll have full marks in no time!'

'... I'll have to pass,' I shook my head. 'I don't want lessons from someone that looks twelve years old.'

'Do I really look twelve years old? Maybe it's just my height...' He looked around for a second. 'At least I'm handsome though, right?'

I frowned. 'Gross.'

'I think you're cute,' Ellis chuckled.

'I didn't ask for your opinion,' Ferris said to him sourly.

'Ah... Sorry,' apologised Ellis. 'I didn't realise I needed permission to speak. My bad, continue.'

Ferris shrugged. 'Whatever. Robin, do you think I'm cute? I think I'm cute. All the girls think I'm cute, too. Do you?'

'You're annoying.'

'And you're so serious! Lighten up, Robin!' He smiled. 'You gotta be happy and smile! Nobody wants to bang a serious guy, am I right?'

My eyebrows furrowed. 'What?'

'All I'm saying is that you gotta smile! Come on, smile! Do it! Now! I wanna see you smile!' He leaned toward me.

'Ferris,' Ellis frowned. 'Stop.'

... That... Was the first time he had ever made a foul expression. He usually smiled and looked happy, but... He looked genuinely pissed off.

'Huh? You're still here?' Ferris turned, eyebrows lowering. 'I didn't realise. You're so unimportant, see.'

'Oh, yes I know,' Ellis smiled once again. 'Old news. But... I'm going to have to get you to stop forcing yourself into people's faces. It's probably...' He upturned his head. '... Why you have no friends.'

Was... Something happening between the two of them...? If so, I wouldn't want to become a part of it. It'd be even more annoying.

'The only reason Robin befriended an asshole like you is because he's a good person,' Ferris released a short, sarcastic laugh. 'If he didn't, you'd be a loner. Like me.'

'We're not friends,' I said immediately.

'Awe, that means we're both loners,' Ferris smiled. 'So think twice before treating me like shit, 'kay?'

It was like... He was switching from personality to personality. One minute, energetic and friendly... And the next, forceful and rude.

I couldn't help but... Agree with Ellis in this situation... No matter how annoying he was. He made a point about forcing himself into others' faces.

Though after Ferris said his words... The two were quiet for the rest of the day.

'Robin... Am I fat?'

'Logan, are you crazy? Who told you that?' I furrowed my brows.

He paused from looking at his iPad. '... Nancy. She said I was too big and fat and squishy. She then said that she doesn't like squishy boys.'

I sighed. 'If you can stand up, look down to the floor and see your toes, you're not fat. Try it.'

He pouted and stood, before following everything that I said. '... I can see my toes.'

'I've made my point.'

'Then why would she lie?' He asked, sitting back down. 'Nancy is an honest girl.'

'Apparently not,' I shrugged. 'Why do you hang around a girl like her?'

'Because I have no other friends,' he said. 'Oh, oh! But I talked to that guy, Peter! He was super shy and embarrassed but he was super nice! Nancy gave me a funny look but that's okay because Peter is a nice boy!'

'I'm glad you're making friends,' I said to him.

'I'm home, boys!' Our mother called as she opened the front door. 'How was school?'

'Good,' said Logan.

I shrugged. 'Boring and annoying.'

'Like always, huh?' She chuckled. 'Well... That's okay.'

'Mom, am I fat?' Logan asked.

'No, honey! Why on earth would you think such a-?'

'No reason,' Logan cut her off. He swore to stay away from Nancy, and he'd get in trouble if she were to find out he didn't. 'Just asking.'

'Well, okay,' our mother smiled. 'Now, what do you two want for dinner?'
