“My office now!” Principal Campbell bellowed angrily. He walked out of my room and Callum and I followed with our heads down. This is the first time I had got in trouble from principal, let alone a teacher! My mother is going to kill me. I’ll be surprised if she even let’s me come back next semester.

We walked in to Principal Campbell’s office and sat down on two plush leather chairs. I closed my eyes and started to breath in deeply trying to calm myself down. “Right now would you care to explain Ms. Redfern, why Mr. Smithers was in your room?” He asked sternly. To be honest I’m not sure if he was angry that we were making out or whether Callum was in my room.

“Ah well, sir, Callum is boarding in the room next to me and he was just coming over to help me pack my bags. I’m going home for the summer.” I gulped nervously. So I was lying to the principal but it’s not like Callum wouldn’t back me up.

“I see.” He murmured as he stared at Callum, trying to figure out if I was lying or not.

“It’s true sir. Olivia is going home to New York for the summer and we were planning our camping trip.” Callum added smoothly.

“Right. From now on no more boys in your dorm room Ms. Redfern.” He said sternly giving me a warning look.

“Um sir, with all due respect. I am the only girl in this school and Callum, Noah and Alex are my only friends. If they aren’t allowed in my room am I allowed in theirs?” I asked. I’d be the loneliest person on the school grounds if I wasn’t allowed to go in to Callum’s room and he wasn’t allowed to come in to mine.

“No. No arguing. If I catch you two at it again I’ll be giving you both detention for a month!” he said. “Now get out of my office!” He yelled. I jumped out of my seat and walked quickly to the door, Callum following my lead.

I sighed as we walked down the hall hand in hand back to the dorms. “Relax babe, we can hang out in the bathroom.” He chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

“I hope he has a bad memory.” I mumbled as we arrived at our dorms.

“I’m sure he does. But we could just hang out at my place on the weekends. And there is a ton of secret places on campus that I haven’t shown you yet!” he cooed. I laughed at his enthusiasm.

“You’re so nice to me.” I giggled as he pulled me in to a hug outside my room.

“So how ‘bout we go break the rules?” he asked with a smirk. I bit my lip. I’m not very good at breaking the rules. He saw my face and then added, “With a locked door of course.” He kissed the top of my head and opened my door slipping in while no one was looking. He locked the door behind him and then led me to the bed.

So I’m home and despite being happy to see my friends again I am miserable because I haven’t seen Callum in a week. We talk on the phone, text and Skype every day but I was right it’s just now the same as being with him like we were at school. But being home and hanging with Nat is relaxing and usually takes my mind off Cal because all she wants to talk about is Alex. She wants to know what he’s like, what his favorite kind of music is, what’s his favorite food and silly things like that. She’s becoming obsessed with him, be just as much as I’m obsessed with Callum.

“So it’s only one more week until we get to go away. Did you ask your Poppy if we could use the cabin?” Nat asked. We had decided today would be a nice time to spend the day at the beach and gossip.

“Yeah he said it was fine but we have to leave it the way we found it.” I replied as I shifted on my towel. We were laying in the sand soaking up the sun.

“Oh that’s awesome. I can’t wait to meet Alex.” Nat gushed. I laughed she seriously hadn’t stopped talking about him since they first started texting.

“Yeah. So um … I’m just curious but did Zac come home for the summer?” I hadn’t been bugged from him since I told him where to go. So I wasn’t sure if he was backing off or maybe he was planning something. It was hard to tell.

“Yeah I saw him yesterday. How are things with you and Zac now? Does he know about Callum?” she asked.

“Yeah he knows about Cal and I tell ya he hates it. He ruined our first date without even being there!” I told her as stretched my arms.

“How did he do that?! Why didn’t you tell me about your first date! Tell me now!” she insisted. I laughed and rolled my eyes and proceeded to tell her about the paints balls on the soccer field and how we went to Callum’s house and how he asked me to be his girlfriend when we got home at like one in the morning.
