Sofia sat in the front with Noah and they chatted away happily, I hadn’t seen Noah so chilled out before, he was usually worrying about something. And lately while we were at school it had been Zac. Now that Zac knew who my friends were he was popping up everywhere and bugging them, I hated the fact that he was trying to use my friends to get to me and I knew that Noah was starting to get pissed off.
Hopefully when we get back to school Zac won’t come back. That would do us all a favour. I was cuddled up in the back seat with Callum and we were catching up because I missed him for a week and it was horrible. Callum and I had such a good relationship, compared to me and Zac anyway. I could go days without even needing or wanting to see Zac, but with Callum, I want to see him all the time. It sort of makes me wonder what I even saw in Zac, apart from being good looking he’s just an ass. Lesson learnt…
My phone started ringing. I picked it up and saw that it was Alex. “Alexander …”
“Olivia…” he replied, I could just tell that he was smirking.
“What do you want?”
“Nat said to tell you to pull over at the gas station. There’s a place we can stop for lunch. Oh and also where the heck are you?”
“Oh right we stopped to pick up another friend. Noah needs a playmate too!” I giggled and glanced at Sofia who had turned around to look at me, she the blushed and turned back around to hide her face.
“Ok cool, well how far off of the gas station are ya?”
“Noah? How long till we get to the gas station?”
Noah stayed quiet for a while and then looked at the navigation system. “Bout ten minutes.” He replied.
“Did you hear that?”
“Yes I did, Olivia, see you in ten.” He replied and hung up.
“How rude he didn’t even say goodbye!” I ranted at I put my phone down and cuddled back up to by pillow, and by my pillow I mean my boyfriend. I still grin from ear to ear when I say that; boyfriend.
When we got out of the car Noah went to fill up on gas and we went over to the other side of the station to the small country restaurant was. It was real homey looking, red and white checked curtains on the windows and a friendly warmth when we walked in. We were greeted by an old lady with a pen and a pad of paper. “How many?” I looked around as I counted, making sure to count Noah and Sofia as well and came to the conclusion that there were eight of us.
