The boys were right about the whole debutante ball thing because when classes started back the first thing the teacher spoke about in English was how the 'OLSH' girls were coming after lunch. At the end of the class because I was the only girl I was pulled aside by the teacher so she could talk to me about this ball thing, I was less than impressed.
"I've been talking to the head master and he is happy for you to be partnered with Callum." She stated. What?!
"What? No Miss Clayton that's alright I don't mind being paired with someone else. Callum and I don't talk any more." I tried to explain before she started talking again.
"The choice has already been made Ms. Redfern. So I advise that you suck it up!" Since when is it okay for teachers to tell you to suck it up? Ugh!
I stomped over to the guys in the cafeteria at lunch and slammed my phone on the table. How do I get out of dancing with Callum? I can barely look at him civilly let alone hold hands with him and dance the freaking waltz! "What crawled up your butt and died?" Alex chuckled when I sat down.
"My partner for this stupid deb thing is Callum." I told him with a scowl and he frowned.
"Who made that decision?" Noah asked.
"Head master jack ass and miss Clayton."
Alex let out another laugh but stopped mid laugh because I was glaring daggers at him. If looks could kill the whole cafeteria might have blown up. "I'm sure if you talk to Miss Clayton she can arrange someone else to be your partner." Noah said said.
"I tried explaining to her that Callum and I don't talk to each other anymore and she told me to suck it up!" I huffed angrily. I still couldn't get over how unfair this was. What did I do to deserve something so horrible?
So I may be a little dramatic but I can't stand Callum anymore, just thinking about this debutante ball makes me feel sick. "You could break a bone, then maybe you could get out of it." Alex so helpfully suggested, he was asking for a punch in the stomach! "Don't look at me like that Olivia, if you really didn't want to dance with Callum you would find a way out."
"You are no help at all. I'm not going to physically hurt myself to get out of this, if worse comes to worse ill fake a sickie or something but I won't resort to breaking bones just yet. Maybe he'll apologize...." I stopped talking as soon as it left my mouth. He didn't say sorry.
"Livv did Callum apologize?" Alex cocked an eyebrow.
I shook my head. It was ages ago, I shouldn't care anymore. Why does it still hurt? Suddenly I didn't feel too great and all I wanted to do was curl in to a ball and sleep. I got up from the table with out saying anything else and walked out of the cafeteria.

"Get off your ass and down to deb practice!" I jumped six feet in the air when
Callum's voice entered my room. I was laying on my bed, head in my pillow feeling sorry for myself not expecting anyone to barge in to my room.
"What the heck do you think you're doing?" I demanded when I looked at him standing at the foot of my bed with his arms crossed over his chest.
"I'm not going to stand in the hall for three hours with no partner, you can walk so you can dance!" He told me firmly.
"Get out of my room!"
"I'm not leaving until you come with me!" He replied and stood his ground, this was going to be hard.
"Get out Callum! I feel sick and the last thing I wanna deal with right now is you!" I yelled at him, I expected him to frown and walk off but instead he walked over to me grabbed me by the wrist and yanked me off the bed.
