Gemma's POV

Leo and I were holding the luggage when we walked into Mr Davenport's house. Leo was struggling, but I used my super strength to lift them up. Mr Davenport held Tasha in his arms bridal style.

"Welcome to your new house, Mrs Davenport." Mr Davenport flirted emphasising the Mrs.

"Why thank you, Mr Davenport." Tasha also replied flirtatiously emphasising the Mr.

"Absolutely, Mrs Davenport." Mr Davenport said.

Tasha giggled and I was happy for the both of them, but I was getting annoyed. So was Leo.

"We get it. You got married. It's getting old." Leo said annoyed.

We looked around and I asked in shock,

"Wow! You got this big house just from inventing things?"

Mr Davenport hummed in response and Leo said,

"Way to go, Mum! That's a husband."

Leo pointed at a device in the room and I asked,

"What the heck is that?"

Leo walked up to it excitedly, but Mr Davenport pulled him away and explained,

"Oh, uh...this is my latest creation. Davenport Industries' first completely interactive 3D tv."

He switched it on and a 3D hologram popped up. The baseball batter whacked the ball and Leo tried to catch it. Key word: tried. He stumbled back into a screen and the screen shouted,

"Watch the face, termite!"

Leo looked around worriedly and said to his mum,

"Mum, I think the little voice inside my head is back."

"Wait, you're STILL hearing voices inside your head." I said and laughed. Leo glared at me and rolled his eyes.

"No, this is Eddy. He's my smart home system. Eddy, this is my new stepson, Leo and his adopted sister. Remember, I told you Leo, Gemma and Tasha were moving in today." Davenport explained.

"Hey, welcome." Eddy said. I smiled. "Everything here is mine." My smile faded.

"Uh, Leo and Gemma. Why don't you check out your new bedrooms? Just go straight down that hallway and when you see the room with the video games and the action figures and the 50 foot screen TV..." Davenport said. Our smiles were wide once he had said that. "Keep walking, that's mine." Our smiles faded when Davenport mentioned that it wasn't our bedroom.

I rolled my eyes and we made our way to our bedroom. It took a long time, but we finally found it.

"This place is huge. I'm gonna need a GPS just to find the bathroom." Leo huffed.

"I know right." I agreed and Leo leaned back and hit the wall.

An elevator showed up and we looked at in confusion. We went in and Leo asked,

"Hello?"

"Oh yeah Leo. Go ahead and say that. I'm sure an elf is gonna pop up and say hello too." I replied sarcastically.

Leo rolled his eyes at me and when we went in,the doors shut behind us and we both went whizzing down. Leo was screaming while I was holding onto the rail. We heard a bell ding and we popped our heads out.

"Whoa! My new dad is batman!" Leo yelled excitedly.

We heard doors opening and I pulled Leo behind the yellow barrels. A guy about my age came out and let me tell you, he was SO CUTE!
