My Depression consumes me
She swallows me whole
I want her to leave me be
but I dont trust myself alone

If she goes away,
who's to say the others will stay?
I've painted scares on the canvas that is my arms
While claiming my depression has never cause me harm

When I ask you to go away
in my mind I'm really begging you to stay
But how will you know if you do leave me alone.
