Silence the words I hear but don't say,
They're convincing me I'm not okay
I cling to every thought so tight,
But I'm not going to drown without a fight

I've lost control,
they've come out to play,
They picked the lock and broken the cage,
they're dragging me away,
Begging me to Misbehave
My silence screams louder than my words,
Undeniably this too will go unheard

They scratch at the surface
Telling me I'm worthless
One lost soul leads to another,
As the words are lodged at the back of my throat,
I can't spit them out
So I leave them in a note..
