I drive home. It's so hard driving because I can't see anything but tears.

What am I going to do? What are my parents going to say?

I pull up to our driveway, an old dirt road. It brings back memories of when I was little. Me and Crescent always played here and in the treehouse.

The treehouse, our greatest memories happened there. We always played with our weapons there and we loved hitting the practice dummies we made ourselves. Good times, now they are gone. Thinking of the treehouse makes me desire for revenge. It's run down now, we hadn't played in it in years. We grew up.

I park the truck and when I try to move him, he is too heavy. I just raise my hand on him and I just sarcastically say,
"You couldn't have eaten less, huh?"

Mom and Dad walk out of the house. What do I say?

I'm guessing they see him by now and mom breaks down, crying and Dad just sits there shocked. What do I say?

We lift his body and bury him, I don't know who I am anymore. He is gone.

"Who did this?" My father looks around to me

" I.. I don't know it was some guy named Daryl, he had black hair and a tattoo on his face." Does he know him?

"Yes, I do know him."

How did he know? Oh, Mindlink, duh!

"What did he say?" He asks

"He said; Goodbye Shadow, you had it coming. What did he mean by that?" I ask

"Something happened long ago, ancient rivalry."

"Like what?" I ask

"Sit down, we need to talk."
