If you want to avoid the more explicit parts watch for the ####### to begin and end the scenes.  Other than that, enjoy!  And dang it!  Now I really want pancakes.  I could go for some ice cream too!  ;)

Chapter 47 Blue Skies In Dark Times

"Suuuugerrrrr.  Are you awake?"  A male voice whispered close to my ear.  I could feel big strong arms around my waist and my back was pressed flush with a male body spooning me.

"Hmmm?"  Was I dreaming?  This would be a weird dream to have.  One man holding me while another talks to me.

"Cup.  Cake.  I want to aaaaaask you soooooomethiiiiiing."  The voice sang the words quietly, as if his words were a secret from the one holding me.  I stirred and felt the arms around my waist slide away, along with the body.  I cracked my eyes open and saw a mop of blonde hair directly in my vision.  The head moved until he was right in front of me, revealing Luke's twinkling chocolate eyes, his finger over his lips in a shushing motion.  I turned my head to look behind me, and found Nathan lying on his back, his bare chest on display, his big meaty arm draped over his face to cover his eyes from the light beginning to stream in the room from the window.

I whispered, "Is it finally done raining?"

Luke's mouth was right over my ear again, his hair tickling my face.  "It seems to have stopped.  But what I want to ask is, will you have breakfast with me...alone?"  He moved so he was looking at me again.  A pleading look in his eyes.

I scrunched my face a bit, "will the others be mad?"  I don't want to cause any arguments.  Playing games to determine who gets alone time with me was working well, I thought.

He shook his head no.  "I cleared it with everyone last night.  So...will you do me the honor, as my wife, of eating breakfast alone with me, your husband?"  He held my fingers in his hand and messed with them as if he was nervous I would deny his request.  What a silly boy!  Of course I want to please him, to make him happy.

I touched his face, traced my thumb over his lips.  "If that's what you want, then it's what I want."  I nodded and smiled, "I'd love to eat breakfast with you."

"Luke..."  Nathan groaned, putting his arm around my waist and pulling me in close to his body again, "go away."

Luke chuckled, "I'll just go make us breakfast Sugar, and I'll come back up.  Nate, I'm giving you thirty minutes.  Breakfast only waits for so long.  And we all know it is the most important meal of the day."  Luke kissed my hand and left the room.

"I was sleeping so soundly, and then he had to go and interrupt."  Nathan grumbled in my neck before he kissed it.  I giggled and scrunched my head against my shoulder.  "Something funny, Peanut?"  He held my hands to my side and pushed the sheet out of the way to blow a raspberry on my stomach.  I squealed and giggled at the assault.

"Shower!"  I yelled through my laughter.

Nathan stopped attacking me and looked at me with curiosity.  "You want me to go first or you?"

"Why not save water?"  I suggested with a slight smile.

He climbed over the top of me and pulled me up to standing in one quick motion.  "Sounds good!  Let's get in there before you change your mind or someone else comes in to interrupt us with more questions about breakfast."

He turned the shower on and I got out two towels from the cabinet.  Nathan pulled me into the shower with him, both of us laughing as we enjoyed being together.  "Last night was great!  I wasn't even aware of the storm."  I told him as I kissed his chest, it was what I could reach without pulling him down to my level.
