Panting, I lean my back against the door, with both hands around Justin's shoulders, leaning his body on my lap. I cant keep going on. Im too tired. I feel my muscles collapsing right now, from exhaustion.I just need sleep. I lean my head back onto the door and close my eyes, needing to slow down my breathing as well as my heart rate. I try to relax down onto the wood behind me, but theres a dull, cold feeling in the room that I cant shake, which makes it hard for my heart beat and mind to calm down.
After countless minutes, I decide the sooner I get out of here, the sooner I can relax. I cringe and look at my shoes: stained with blood from my feet injuries. I should try and take it easy. Without a second thought, I use the door handle behind me and lift my weight slowly onto my feet, wanting to scream in pain during every second of it.
Once I was finally on my feet, I picked up Justin and dragged him behind me, his body putting even more unbearable pain into my heels, and drag him through the next door: the next game.
I open the door with a flash, and its pitch black. "Hello?" I yell into the void. I have no idea of knowing what the hell is inside here. Looking down at Justin, I get the courage and take a step inside the room. Big mistake.
Right as I step a foot inside the room, a giant un-human like, grey hand pops out at me and grabs me by the shirt, and before I can fight back it knocks me off my feet and separates me from Justin, and continuos to furiously drag me into the dark room.
"Stop! Stop! Justin!" I yell back to his unconscious body, wishing Justin was still by my side.
I hear buttons clanking and mechanical-like noises surround me at every angle, but I cant see anything so the noises mean nothing. A large, heavy, object is placed on both of my wrists, making me unable to move them.
"What the hell! Let me go!" I say, to nobody in particular. Not even knowing if they can understand me. And in the next moment, I get hit in the head with a dull object. And my mind starts to slow down, and I hit the floor faster than gravity itself.
I wake up to the smell of burning. Not like a good steak smell roasting, but a rotten, repulsive smell. I fling my eyes open and see cement just inches from my nose. I push myself off of the cold floor with my hands, then they immediately rub my sleepy eyes, trying to make sense of what are before them.
Glass.
All around me. Im in some kind of... tube.
Instinctively, I bang on the glass with all my might, but it doesn't even make a dent. I look around but all I can see is cement around me, even though the entire room is filled with light.
What was that burning smell?
I stand up to get a better look around, and then I see red, burning hot lava around the tube, in fact its like as if the lava were a floor, because it spreads all throughout the room.
"What the hell..." I say, and turn to my left to get a better view. And then I see another tube, a few yards away from my own. And I see blonde hair... Val's blond hair. "Val! Oh my God, Val can you hear me?!" I bang on the glass, trying to get her attention, but she remains on the floor unresponsive.
Panicking, I look for a way out of the tube, but the ceiling is tightly sealed by more cement and below me is even more cement, and even if I were to go below me, the lava makes it impossible.
