*Dani's POV*

It's the Cimorelli's family annual Memorial Day barbecue. Everyone is invited: aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends. Let's just say, with us thirteen, and everyone else, there's a lot of food.

I'm in the bathroom, getting ready. I've decided to curl my hair, put the bandanna around my head, with my bangs in the front, and the rest of my hair behind it.

Lisa, the day before, had done all of our nails with the American flag design. Christina is going to do my little makeup I was allowed to wear a little later.

I finish doing my hair, then head into my bedroom and look out the window. Mom and Dad are putting up the decorations: American flags; blue, white, and red lights; American flag tablecloths and napkins. Very patriotic to celebrate Memorial Day.

Guests are starting to arrive, so I should probably go down there too.

A/N From xxcimluverxx: Here is the chapter 1 teaser for Made In America written by the lovely @I_Live_4_Cimorelli! The full chapter will be up soon! Yes, I did change a little what she wrote mostly because it would work a little smoother if the story takes place in a time more current. Originally it was written as 4th of July barbecue but I changed it to Memorial Day because that was just two days ago. Also, it's not really supposed to be in that order. I changed it around for the teaser but in the real thing it will be just like the original.
