Lauren's POV

"From the cowboys riding in the pickup trucks, to the girls in the city screaming turn it up."

C'mon Lauren, thirty more seconds. You can do it.

"Cuz we're M-A-D-E-I-N-AMERI" I felt my body go limp and fall to the grass. All I could see was black.

Christina's POV

Lauren suddenly stopped singing. There were gasps coming from the audience. My little sister was lying on the floor, unconscious. She had landed with a loud thud. My mom's face was white.

"Michael! Call 911!" my dad yelled to my older brother. Katherine was praying and her cheeks were wet, Lisa was holding it in as well as she could, Amy was kneeling next to Lauren holding her hand, Alex was pacing nervously around the yard, Dani was full on sobbing, and Christian, Nick, and Joey were hugging our parents. I bent down next to Lauren and placed my ear to her heart. Slower than usual, but at least she's alive. I checked her pulse with my fingertips on her wrist and on her neck. Same rate as her heart. Sirens came into the distance. The paramedics lifted her up on a gurney and rolled her into the ambulance.

"Who's her mother?" one medical assistant asked.

"I am," our mom replied. He motioned for her to ride in the back with Lauren.

My dad told all the guests to leave, and ushered all 10 of us into the white van.

"She's going to be okay, she's going to be okay." I heard him utter as he drove. Finally we reached Saint John's Health Center. We hastily got out of the car, but Joey lingered behind crying until Alex picked him up.

"We're here for Lauren Cimorelli," Dad explained to the receptionist at the front desk.

"She is currently in the exam room. Please have a seat until we call you."

We sat down in the waiting area solemnly. No one said a word.

"Okay, she is in room 1320. That's on the thirteenth floor. The elevator is through that door to the right. When you get to the correct floor, make a left and walk to the door that is labled with the correct number. I give my condolences." The dang lady finally stopped talking. Michael led the way to the elevator.

"She's on the thirteenth floor," Alex whispered to me in my ear. I shivered. We got to the elevator and saw there was no floor 13. Now that freaked me out even more. Magically, the button appeared.

...... :0

Hahahaha just kidding! It wasn't on the 13th floor, it was the fifteenth. We finally got there and stepped out. I led the way to room 1520. Dad opened the door and there was Lauren, laying on the hospital bed, unconscious, while Mom sat in a chair in the corner of the room crying. A doctor in probably his late 40's walked in.

"So I'm assuming you're the rest of Miss Cimorelli's family? Well, here's her condition. Lauren has slipped into a coma and should be waking up in about 2 weeks. We will closely monitor her, just to make sure she doesn't leave us completely. We still have no idea what caused this though. When she awakens, if she does, make sure she eats plenty of protein, carbohydrates, and lipids. The carbs will give her energy while the protein and lipids restore any parts of her body that are weak and store the energy. Please ensure she also drinks about 32 ounces of water every day. Also, no boy distractions. She needs to concentrate on getting healthier."

"Oh we'll make sure of that," Lisa said. The doctor stared at her weirdly. "I mean, about the boy thing." she clarifies. He just glanced around the room, said goodbye, and left.

"In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Dear God,

please make sure Lauren wakes up. I can't lose my birthday twin. She's part of our life. Thank you.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen."
