~Laura~

I woke up, i was in strange surroundings. Well it wasn't necessarily strange, it was just different.

I heard cries in the far distance, i saw my best friend blindfolded and handcuffed to a rusty, old pipe in the far distance sobbing. I wanted to help, i wanted to do something. But there was nothing at all that i could do; i was handcuffed myself.

I felt like i had been here for eternity, time really was dragging on. Of course i couldn't tell what the time was, the kidnappers had taken our phones. I sighed, this was awful and the worst part was that i couldn't do much about the situation which left me feeling so useless.

My stomach began to growl. I needed food more than anything, i had really bad hunger pains and i knew that they would just worsen.

After what felt like a while, two hooded figures entered our "room". They had trays with food on it, there was a bowl of soup that looked like slop then there was a small packet of crips, an apple and a bottle of water.

"Please, can you just let us go? What have i ever done wrong to you?" I sighed, one of the hooded figures went to respond but the other one persuaded him not to. They walked out of the room and locked the door behind them.

"Georgia, we need to get out of here." I pointed out.

"Yes we do. You could of easily done something when the kidnappers came in. You're not handcuffed and still you chose not to." She responded sounding slightly annoyed.

"I wouldn't of been able to do much. In fact i would of worsened the situation because then we would of both been handcuffed and unable to help each other." I exclaimed.

"Well what are you going to do to help?" She asked me.

"I'm going to get you out of those handcuffs Georgia." I told her. I examined the slippery floor looking for a blade or a sharp object. I needed to find an object which could get Georgia out of these handcuffs.

In the far corner of the room, there was a silver item on the murky floor. It turned out to be a blade and i did manage to get Georgia out of her handcuffs, but now what? We're still trapped, nothing has changed, we're just not tied up. It didn't really make a difference.

We were just sat here in this grimy room doing nothing, there was nothing that could currently be done.

I sighed, it felt like hours, maybe even possibly days. It can't of been days, perhaps i'm over exaggerating but time really does seem to be going slow.

There was loads of commotion above, banging shouting... Me and Georgia looked at each other worried, perhaps things had gone wrong... And if things have gone wrong that lowers our chances of getting out of here. The banging and thuds were getting closer until the door to the room swung open.

There was a guy with a bloody nose, he was familiar, i knew this kid, it was Luke. I saw his blue piercing eyes, he was examining me, he was confused... His sandy hair looked slightly messed up, he must of been fighting with the kidnappers, oh...

"Well are you gonna get us out of here or not? I'm hungry!" Georgia snapped.

"Yeah, follow me." Luke replied, wow he's actually being nice/civil for once.

Georgia walked on ahead, i walked behind her followed by Luke.

"So are you okay Laura?" He asked me, is he really pretending to care?

"What do you think?" I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry, i was only asking. I was actually quite concerned about you, your parents had informed my family about how you had ran away from home and not came back. They tried phoning you but you didn't respond, you weren't t any of your friends houses apparently." He began.

"Why are you being nice to me Luke?" I rolled my eyes, he was never usually nice to me, he was usually a jerk.

"I'm a nice person Laura." He smiled, i snorted... He genuinely believed it aswell, he wasn't even being sarcastic. There goes that big ego of his once again.

"Whatever Luke." I rolled my eyes.

I exited the building where i was held captive, i wasn't really sure where i was but Luke's car was parked up and Georgia was stood waiting. She looked annoyed and impatient.

"You two took your time." She rolled her eyes.

"Sorry he was being annoying." I replied, Georgia gave me a unconvinced look like i was lying and that i had something to hide. Well i wasn't she could believe whatever she wanted.

Luke gave us a lift back to Georgia's place, she launched out of the car.

"Ill see you inside." She quickly told me before dashing inside, well she's in a rush.

"Laura i really am sorry about this." Luke told me whilst placing his hand on my leg. I cringed at his touch.

"Why are you sorry. You had nothing to do with this... Or did you?" I paused.

"No i didn't! I mean i'm sorry for not finding you sooner." He exclaimed.

"Oh, well how did you find us?" I questioned him, it was a little strange. Him of all people to find us...

"I have contacts Laura." He responded, so he's not going to tell me, ok then...

"Well thanks i guess, for saving us." I told him. I then got out of the car.

I had never seen that side of Luke before...he could be a nice a person, he could be kind. He just chose to be a jerk and the schools player. or was that just a front to hide who he really is?

I didn't think it was possible for him to be nice, especially to the likes of me.

Its kinda short, unedited (bound to be mistakes) and rushed. I literally just wrote this up, it's 1am and i have school tomorrow o.O.
