Chapter Twenty One - I miss you..

I practically been third wheeling with Georgia and Ethan for the last few days. He was always at Georgia's, I had to admit they were quite cute together and maybe he wasn't using her like i thought he would, who knows? I don't understand guys like that, i haven't had any experience with them, except from Luke, but i wouldn't necessarily class that as experience, he was just someone I had to put up with.

Since I had said all of that stuff to Luke, my parents have started texting me, only small things. So after all these weeks they're trying to interact and socialise with me? No, i'm not having it. They're selective about when they talk to me so i'm going to be the exact same. Luke had clearly backstabbed me, but good! I wanted them to know what I thought,my opinion regardless to whether their going to take it into consideration or not.

It was now the weekend. So I had a cringy weekend awaiting for me, if I had to watch Georgia and Ethan make out for the whole time. However, I could hardly complain considering that I was staying at her house. She had been such a good friend to me and she deserved to be happy.

I had sent several texts to Ash, but he had stopped responding. He hadn't been at school the past few days either, it really wasn't like him. Usually, he would respond instantly... Now he would just read my messages and ignored them, I knew this because he had his read recipients switched on so i could see when he had read my message. I didn't bug him too much, I knew that if he wasn't responding, he more than likely had a good reason for it. But it had been a few days now, I would of thought he would of got back to me, i was starting to worry. But I wasn't going to do anything about it, not just yet... I was going to leave it a few more days, then i would bug him some more maybe even possibly go round his house if I had to.

The truth is, I missed Ash... I really did, he was a great guy. He was fun to be around, he never failed to make me smile no matter my mood and he would always try and help me regardless to what I needed help with.

Ethan had left Georgia's. I was relieved, now I could have a girls night in with Georgia. I felt so awkward and out of place with him here... I wondered if he knew about mine and Luke's "arranged marriage" it wouldn't surprise me if he did. I've told some of my friends about it, so i wouldn't be surprised if Luke had aswell.

Currently Georgia was downstairs getting some snacks that her mum had fixed up for us, she was taking quite a while actually...

But her mum was great, she had practically taken me in and treated me like one of her own. It was rare to have a parent/parents as nice as that.

Georgia came upstairs with a large navy blue tray filled with goodies: Marshmellows, Popcorn, Cakes, bright red strawberries and melted chocolate to be dipped in, a tube of pringles, fries, a bag of crips and two bottles of alcopops.

"I'm sorry... My mums running low on food, this is all we have." Georgia told me. All!? There was absolutely loads! If i had this it would last me for days and she's doubting whether it's enough or not!? I wouldn't even have that much food in my house, my cupboards at home were always empty so i had to deal with my rumbling stomach. Any money I did get, i tended to spend it on food.

"That's a lot georgia... I don't think i'll eat all of that." I began.

"Whatever you don't eat, I will." She shrugged. Before beginning to eat some marshmallows.

"Wanna watch a film?" She asked me.

"Sure, you can choose what one." I replied, she flicked through some dvds and ended up putting clueless on, oh... I hadn't seen this film before, but it seemed like a good film, it was engaging anyway.

"Oh Laura, I forgot... My mum told something and I thought you should know." Georgia blurted half way through the film.

"Does it involve luke or my parents? If it does then don't bother telling me because i don't want to know." I told her.

"No it doesn't have any relevance to them." She replied.

"Then who is it about?" I asked her.

"Ash, it's about Ash..." Georgia began, my heart sank... Had something happened to him? No it couldn't of. I would of heard about it, i would be aware of it by now... Everyone would know. I began to get a little worried, I hoped that he was okay...

"It might not be nothing major, so you don't need to worry." She told me, phew, what a relief. "But my mum was speaking to his mum earlier and Ash has been really sick lately... He's practically bed-bound... And the last few days he's got worse. He's been beginning to have nose bleeds, feeling weak,losing weight... He weighs about 7 and a half stone now Laura and he's still been having fevers. So his mum finally took him to the doctors and the doctors assured her that it was nothing major... That it should just go away, and he should recover, you know sometimes these things happen. Therefore you don't need to worry, I was just informing you that you're boyfriend is really ill. He didn't want you to know, because he didn't want you to worry. But i think you have the right to know as his girlfriend so thats why i'm telling you." Georgia added.

Ash was really sick...i felt so bad but there wasn't much i could do. The doctors practically said he will heal, so it was all down to him. I was curious to what had caused this though, it had to mean something... But i really did miss Ash and i couldn't stay annoyed with him for keeping something like this from me.

A/n

Sorry this book has gone off it's original storyline, but don't worry it's temporary. Should resume back to the storyline at about chapter twenty five.

Err unedited, this was written at 4am :| quite short too sorry.

This book will be finishing soon, in about 5-9 chaps i don't really know, just that it will be soon. but don't worry i have ideas for the upcoming chapters.

I will try and update sunday.
