Hi, my name is Hayley Barnes. I am a 18 year old girl and I live in North Dakota with my older brother, Adam, my father, John, and my mother, Louise. We live on a ranch, called North Dakota Horse Ranch. Pretty obvious. My mother owns a palomino mare named Spring, my father has a nice bay trail horse and his name is Rock. My brother has a chestnut gelding named Dodger, and sadly, I don't own one. I compete in barrel racing and western pleasure with Spring, and have about one hundred ribbons and have won some nice tack and horse supplies. My dad is a rodeo organizer and my mom works with horses.
I am very excited for graduating in a few weeks, you know why? Well, there is this wild mustang round up and my dad said we could get me a horse there if I do graduate. So, my life is near perfect, due to the fact I don't own a horse. I plan to train it and win many competitions in the future. I grew up in this town, and I plan on staying here for the rest of my life. And I don't really have any friends, except for Sara. She was my best friend since forever and is a very horsey girl, like me.
