((An hour later; on the train))

The team had just gotten on the train ten minutes ago and Natsu’s was turned green.

“Behold, the great and powerful Salamander of Fairy Tail,” Gray teased “Man, your so lame.”

“Sh..ud..u-” Natsu almost hurled when talking.

“Relax, its only a half an hour till we get there,” Erza stated.

“Um actually, Erza…” Lucy said nervously “We are supposed to take another train for two hours afterwards, then a wagon for a while.”

“…”

“Mavis…SAVE ME!!!!” Natsu whaled.

Gray couldn’t help but laugh, “Sucks to be you,”

They all nodded in agreement, looking at the dragon slayer with slight relief that they weren’t him for a minute.

“Anyways,” Lucy broke the silence “Erza, do we even know what we’re up against here. Slaying monsters and beating up dark wizards is one thing, but a sickness caused by dark magic is completely different.”

Erza turned to Lucy, “I know. The villagers were not very specific about that. What about it?”

“I mean if this is like what happened with Nirvana, then things will get pretty chaotic quickly,” Lucy pointed out.

Erza nodded, “That’s a good point but Zeref’s magic is mostly death or creation magic so my guess there would be a lot of people moving.”

“Yeh, but why would Zeref show up and curse a town in the middle of nowhere?” Gray asked.

“You know, that doesn’t make much senses,” said Lucy.

“Because he’s an evil wizard! They kill people!” Happy blurted.

“No, I doubt that’s the reason. If Zeref really wanted to kill a lot of people, then he would have cursed someplace that connects to several different cities will a great population.” Erza commented.

***Lucy’s POV***

‘Why would Zeref do this? It makes no sense.’ I thought to myself.

“Hmmm,”

“W-wa-think-(gulp)…swaying,” Natsu mourned.

I sided, “Oh for Mavis’s sake, drink this.”

I threw a bottle of potion towards my partner. Without asking what it was, he chugged it down. About five minutes late, Natsu was able to sit up.

“Wow, thanks Lucy. What was that stuff?” Natsu grinned.

“Shut up and say what you were going to say,” I barked.

Okay, even though he wrote an apology, I am still not letting him off so easily. I just happened to have a potion for motion sickness with me; I didn’t know that I would have to use it so soon.

He sat there for a second and fiddled with his scarf, “Well…um, I don’t think he knew that there was a village there.”

“Wait, what?” Gray asked baffled.

“Yeh, when I saw him on Tenrous Island, he didn’t seem to know that it be aware that people when on the island. Plus, Zeref kept on telling us to stay away from him.”

Natsu had a point, but at the same time how else could it have been?

(At Tenrous)

The figure walk towards a pile of old stones that had had been stood up to make a grave, Mavis’s grave. The figure attempted to touch the grave but was force to retreat a few steps when shocks by a protective shield.

Meanwhile, a little wavy, blond haired girl with winged ears and a ruffled pink dress was rest on a high branch above the grave. She stared furiously at the figure; wait for the man to make his next move…so she could strike.

It was the ghost of Mavis Vermillion, the founder of the Fairy Tail guild. She knew who he was

and she was PISSED.
