Chapter 10

~Bella's POV~

I woke up to the sunlight hitting my face and immediately turned away.
"There's been a cop outside the house since you went to bed. We couldn't do anything all night."
"Yeah. What's with him anyway?" I groaned and peeked to look at the time. 9:30 am. I sat up in bed and stretched out my sore muscles. I proceeded to drag myself out of bed and find some clothes for the day to wear. I saw my suitcase in my closet so I picked out today's clothes and packed everything else. I knew I was leaving and not coming back.
The doorbell rang and I jerked awake. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 10:45 am. I fell asleep on top of my suitcase for a little more than an hour. Chucky and Tiffany were right by the door in Barbie mode so I went to get the door. The officer from last night was standing there with a man that had blond hair and a woman with carmel hair had her arm wrapped around his.
"Isabella, good morning." I smiled in return. I was still studying the man and woman. I swear I know them from somewhere then last night played in my head and I remembered that Esme was coming to get me. I was going to live with her.
"Hi." I kept the door open and motioned for them to come inside.
"I have to get my bag ready still. I overslept." I did the stairs two at a time and hurried to get my bag ready.
"Don't worry guys, I won't tell anyone anything. I promise." I said that to Chucky and Tiffany. They glanced at me, out of Barbie mode, and I knew they understood. I brought down my bags and then got Chucky and Tiffany. I couldn't carry it all.
"I'm ready." I smiled but it was forced. Carlisle, Esme, and the officer turnrd towards me and the officer nodded.
"Well the paperwork is all filled out so congratulations, you are now officially Isabella Marie Swan Cullen. I best be off now." I watched the officer leave and then turned to Carlisle and Esme. Esme came forward and hugged me. I embraced her and I felt the tears forming behind my eyes. I sniffled and she held me tighter. I could feel myself being lifted off the ground and so I opened my eyes. Carlisle had my bags and was waiting for us. Esme carried me into the car and placed me in the backseat. I then forgot my phone and tried unhooking the seatbelt.
"Wait I left my phone upstairs." I ran up the stairs and grabbed my phone. My charger was in my bag so I booked it down the stairs and back into the car.
"Did you get everything?" I nodded my head and sat back.
"We'll be driving back so just tell us when you get hungry or have to use the bathroom. We'll go shopping for your bed and anything else when we get to the house." I could feel myself slipping off into dream land so I let the dark take me over.

"Bella? Bella wake up." Someone was shaking me a little too hard. I opened my eyes and saw that we were at Olive Garden. (Anyone a big Olive Garden's fan?) I got out of the car and stretched. I then proceeded to grab Chucky and Tiffany and follow my new parents into the restaurant.
"Bella why don't you leave your dolls in the car? No one will take them." I thought about it and glanced down at Chucky. He was glaring at me.
"They comfort me."
"Okay." Esme smiled at me and pushed me to be between her and Carlisle while walking to the entrance.
"Table for three please."

Lunch wasn't that long because we still had a long way to go. I noticed that Esme and Carlisle didn't eat a lot but I didn't say anything as to hurt their feelings. I stayed awake for a while until I saw a sign that said welcome to Washington State. Did they live here? I couldn't fall asleep when the rain started so I just stared out the window at the passing trees. My phone was dead so I couldn't go on it and I didn't bring anything to do.
"Bella?"
"Yes?"
"Here's a little welcoming gift from the family." Esme passed back an apple laptop. This must have cost a fortune.
"Are you sure you want me to have it? It must have cost you too much for it."
"It's no problem. Whatever you want just ask."
"Thank you." I opened the box and booted it up.
"Oh it also has built in wifi so you can go on the internet if you're bored." I saw that the desktop had a lot of things on it so I went through each of the documents but stopped when I saw something that was addressed to me.

Dear Bella,

We're all so happy you're coming to live with us. We'll have a great time and will be the best of friends.
My name's Alice and I'll be your sister. I love shopping and I hope you do too.
My name's Rosalie and I'll be your sister as well. I love working on cars.
My name's Jasper and I'll be your brother that will protect you from anyone who would want to hurt you but I don't think I'm the only one that speaks for that. I'm a really big History geek so if you need any help just ask.
My name's Emmett but you can call me Emmy if you want. I'll be the best big brother you've ever had. I like all kinds of sports so if you want to try out for any kind of sport just come to me.
My name's Edward and I'm your third brother.
