First Day of School (Part 1)

A/N: I had to reread the story so Bella is 15 at the moment and is starting to figure out what the Cullens are. Hope you like this chapter. Also, Bella changed her style since her mom died so she's kinda emo and a little goth. It's a mixture of both.

~Bella's POV~

  My new family is good but Emmett will still be Emmett; funny and inappropriate. I learned to not go into his and Rosalie's room in the middle of the night. Not a pretty picture. I usually find Jasper reading in his study. Alice can never be found unless she's reading fashion magazines with Rosalie or doing their nails. I've asked them about helping with my coordination and it's helped alot. I'm not that clumsy anymore but not completely. I was walking down the staircase and tripped on the last step. I braced myself for the fall but I felt cool arms encircle me. Edward got me before I fell and he was nowhere to be seen.
  It's been a week since my staircase fail and I've been paying attention more. I already know that they never eat and now do they have super speed? It does make sense for how Edward got to me so fast. I also saw that they all have the same eye color whenever they come back from "hunting". I don't believe them. And before they leave their eyes are coal black. It's very wierd. I grabbed my laptop and googled my observations. A few sites came up but they weren't the least bit helpful. There was one website all the way at the end that caught my attention; Blood Drinkers Are Real. I entered the site and it explained about a creature called Stregoni. It even had a place where you could find them. It was in Italy but it didn't define a city. The website shared what these Stregoni's looked like. Pale skin, cold to the touch, hard as stone, and they have blood red eyes. Everything was what I observed except the red eyes so it must be my imagination acting up. I closed my laptop and started getting my stuff ready for school. I have my first day of high school tomorrow and it's gonna SUCK. I didn't pick out my outfit because if I do then Alice will pick a different one and I hate it when she does that. I climbed in bed and dozed off for the night.

  "Crawling out the back door, didn't leave a mark, where you think you going Miss Jackson, found another vict-"
"Shut up." It was one of my favorites but it woke me up. I dragged myself out of bed and went to take a shower. As usual Alice had an outfit picked out for me but it wasn't what I was expecting. It was a pair of black skinny jeans with a shirt that said "Bite Me". She had my accessories next to the outfit. There was a choker with a pendant hanging from it, a few bracelets, and a ring that belonged to my mother. I hurried to get dressed and saw it was only 6:30 am. I had another hour so I went onto my laptop. I saw that a lot of my software needed to be upgraded so I went to see if Carlisle was still here. I opened the door and peeked to see if they were up. I still saw them in bed so I closed the door an went downstairs. I was really hungry but I didn't want cereal so I tried fixing something simple like eggs. I burnt half of it so I only had half an egg.
"Bella? What are you doing up so early?" I turned and saw Carlisle standing there with Esme.
"I wasn't planning on being late on my first day of school. I had some time to spare so I went on my laptop and it said that a lot of the software needed an upgrade. I went to see if you were up but you were still sleeping so I came down and cooked breakfast but ended ip burning half an egg and I'm running out of breath."
"Do you need me to upgrade your computer?" I nodded my head yes and he took it upstairs.
"Now what about burning eggs?" I showed her yo the kitchen and showed her the pan.
"I accidentally burned the pan too." She just smiled.
"Oh, it's quite alright dear. It took me a while to figure out how to cook too. I think I spoil you too much that you forgot to cook. Would you like me to teach you to cook when you come back from school?" I nodded my head. I ran upstairs to get my bag and phone when I noticed Chucky by my phone.

"You want to come don't you?" He nodded his head yes. I thought about it for a minute and shoved him in my bag. I grabbed my stuff and ran down the stairs. I couldn't wait for the school day to start.

"Come on Bella!" I kept running to the garage and jumped into Edward's Volvo. One thing that I want is my own car so that I won't have to be carpooled everywhere.

"Eager are we?" I just nodded.  I was a freshman this year, Edward, Rosalie and Alice are juniors, and Emmett and Jasper are seniors. It took us a good 15 minutes to get to the school so I was on my phone the whole time. The bell was about to ring for homeroom so I got out and started walking to the school. I heard a few whistles but ignored them. I'd find a boy on my own time. I made my way to whatever her name's class is and found a place in the corner of the room. I stayed on my phone because I gave Chucky a phone and he was telling me about his life when he was human.

"Miss Swan!" I looked up to see the teacher looking directly at me. I just put my phone away and smiled sweetly at her.

"I'm here." That was how my day started.
