~Bella's POV~
God teachers are annoying. The teachers are making students introduce themselves to the class. I hate it, I hate them, I hate this whole school!
"Miss Swan." The teacher motioned me to present myself.
"No."
"Excuse me?!"
"You heard me. I'm not going up there and you can't make me." I just heard the teacher sigh and move on. Most of the class was so cheery and peppy.
"Mr. Tyrel." I saw this guy with jet black hair go up and introduce himself. He had piercings in both ears and lip piercings. He was wearing a My Chemical Romance t-shirt and black ripped skinny jeans.
"Names Ki and I don't talk to people unless I like you. And also don't disturb me." He walked back to his seat and winked at me. I blushed a light pink. It's not like I've that was my first compliment. I learned to live with it when you're living with a house full of vampires. The bell for lunch brought me from my thoughts then. My book that was on the desk fell because the bell made me jump. I went to grab it but another hand beat me to it. I looked up and saw Ki.
"Um, hi." Why was I nervous?
"You dropped this." I grabbed the book and stuffed it in my bag. I know Chucky will hate me but oh well.
"Would you like to sit with me at lunch?" He was asking me to lunch with him? Wait, what about my family? Well, I see them everyday so it wouldn't matter anyhow.
"Sure." We walked together in silence. It was a comfortable silence until we got to the lunchroom. Emmett and his big mouth.
"Bella!" I looked the other way and started talking with Ki.
"So, what grade are you in?"
"11th, you?"
"I'm a freshman."
"Well, you're a very pretty freshman." I blushed and he smiled. Damn him. I grabbed a salad and a water. I wasn't very hungry. Ki just grabbed a snack. After we paid he led me to a table in the back, away from everyone.
"So why was Emmett yelling for you? He's not you're boyfriend is he?"
"Eww no. He's my brother and everyone else at that table are my half sisters and half brothers. I get enough from them at home."
"I know the feeling. My little sister is so annoying that I have to lock my room whenever I go anywhere just so that she doesn't snoop around. She's actually a freshman as well. Her name's Kaylie." I think I know someone with that name. Oh, right, first period which happens to be homeroom.
"Tell me something that you've never told anyone." He was very curious. Hmm.
"Well, I've never had my first kiss yet. I think that counts doesn't it?"
"Yeah. Well, let me see. I'll tell you something I've never told anyone then. That seems fair." He sat in thought for a minute then spoke.
"I'm not a virgin."
"That's surprising seeing that you don't talk to people."
"I used to until middle of last year."
"What happened?"
"My parents were driving home from the store when they got caught in a nasty blizzard. They said they'd try to find shelter and that was the last we heard from them. It was after the blizzard hit that the police came and told us that our parents were dead. They uncovered their car a few miles from the house. Me and Kaylie have been in a foster home for not even a month until a couple came and took us in. I hate the parents but Kaylie likes them so I try. I try for Kaylie even though she gets on my nerves. Well speak of the devil. Hello Kaylie." I turned around to see three girls walking over with hands on hips. Oh no. They were the ones to try and beat me up because I was too ugly for them.
"Well if it isn't Miss Ugly. I would've thought the dog catchers would be here by now to take you away or was it the asylum for crazy people like you."
"That's enough Kaylie. Just because you're sad and miserable doesn't mean you have to press it on everyone else. Go back and eat your lunch."
"I was coming over to talk to you about tonight. Mom and Dad said you have to bring someone or you won't be able to come."
"I remember now just go." She turned around and stomped away with her 'friends' behind her.
"I'm sorry about her. She's like that when she's not around Mom or Dad."
"That's alright. I kinda knew I'd get on someones bad side from the start."
"Well, you're on my good side so anyone else doesn't matter. I know I just met you but will you be my date to the movies tonight? I really want to go but, like Kaylie said, I need a date. So will you? It doesn't have to mean anything."
"Sure. I'd like to see the town anyway. I heard there were a few new shops opening up tonight anyway. What movie are we seeing?"
"It's called Carrie-
"Oh my god I've been wanting to see that movie so bad since the trailer came out."
"We will go to dinner before the movie so something fancy but not elaborate. My parents are kinda strict about that."
"Ok. I'll get my parents to drop me off at your house. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, here's my phone number." He wrote his number on my hand and I promised to call him when I got home. The bell rung and we went to our separate classes. I wasn't focusing when the teacher called me so someone had to shake me back to reality.
"What." I snapped at the person that pushed me.
"Miss Swan will you please pay attention." I just grabbed my stuff and walked out of the classroom. I stayed in Edward's Volvo until the end of school.
A/N: Hey guys, what's up? I hope you like this chapter. I actually just picked a random movie so I might watch it before the next chapter or I'll just go off reviews of it. I am also going to be putting up another story soon so be on the lookout for that. Also I wish you a late Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bye Bye.
