The Truth

~Bella's POV~

  I was running through the woods trying to find my way back home when I heard a long howl that didn't seem very far away. Then a force knocked me to the ground. I turned around and saw a huge wolf above me with steel grey eyes.

"Ki. It's me."

  I woke up with a start. I looked at the clock and saw it was 8:13. Oh no the full moon's already out. I grabbed my stuff and ran downstairs and out the door. Carlisle said that the whole family was going hunting and for me to stay inside; as if. I'm finding out what Ki meant by his statement he told me earlier.

It's a full moon tonight... I don't want you getting hurt. I took my bike and peddled it down the long driveway and biked my way to Ki's house. I saw a couple cars pass but none would be out this late.

  I finally made it to Ki's house in a half hour although it usually takes 15 minutes. I knocked and rang the door bell but no one answered. I went around back and found the door ajar. I've seen this so many times, the girl sees a door open and then the killer is waiting on the other side. I had a pocket knife that Alice packed so I pulled that out. I doubt it would do anything but I was still cautious. I opened the door all the way and went in side. I flipped the switch but the power wasn't on. That's strange. I looked around for a flashlight and found one by a coffee pot they had. I turned it on and looked all around since I had some light. Their were marks along the wall that looked like huge claws. They led out the back door I came in. I went into the living room and saw the furniture destroyed along with the T.V. cut in half. I looked up the stairs and it looked like the living room; walls with claw marks in them and the decorations torn and glass broken. The bedrooms were worst with, what looked like, nothing in them since the furniture was torn to shreds. The bathroom was untouched though.

"I've been waiting for you." I turned around in a panic and toppled over some some glass. I was wearing boots so the glass cut through to the skin. I looked down I pulled it out. It hurt like a bitch. I saw that it was Charles.

"What do you want?"

"Oh, the same thing I wanted when you took me, and Tiffany, in. I want your soul and I'll have it one way or another." He pulled out a knife and charged at me. I then felt someone choking me from behind. I already knew it was Tiffany. I brought my arms around behind me and pulled her off. Where's my family when I need them? I got up and half ran half limped downstairs. I was distracted with Tiffany that I didn't see Charles come downstairs. He was on the counter top and was giving me a malicious grin. I looked back up the stairs and saw Tiffany standing there. My flashlight was upstairs and shining on Tiffany like a spotlight. I could see Charles from the moon. I tried making a break for the back door but Charles expected that and threw himself at me. His knife dug into my side and I fell down with him on top of me.

"You're not going anywhere now." With the he brought his arm back and....

  I opened my eyes and saw that I saw in the forest. I tried moving but I was restrained by a rope around me. I looked at my side and it was still bleeding.

"Ah now you're awake." I looked around but I didn't see him. He came from around another tree with Tiffany beside him.

"What are you going to do? You need another person for you and Tiffany to both become humans again." A howl sounded through the night. I looked around panicked. I tried loosening the rope but it was useless.

"That's who we're waiting for." They hid again and I was alone. 

  It wasn't that much later that I heard footsteps coming closer. I was starting to panic again. I tried loosening ropes as much as I could until I felt a hot breathe in my face. A wolf twice the size of me stared at me. I let out a whimper. I could see steel grey eyes.

"Ki? It's me, Bella. Please help me." I didn't know if he could understand me but I had to try. He howled but it sounded like a painful howl. He toppled over and Charles was behind him with a gun held up. I screamed in terror. I just hope he isn't dead.

"Shut up!" They came closer but Tiffany stopped and brought a knife out. She used it to paralyze Charles and came to cut the ropes.

"Go. Leave." I nodded and ran. I was seeing black spots in my vision but I kept going. I wasn't sure where I was going but another howl sounded. I crumpled to the ground in pain and screamed for help. I yelled until my throat was sore. I now knew what Ki was; a werewolf. That's what their secret is. I labored my breathing after a wave of pain hit again and again. I started feeling that I was drifting away and struggled to hold on. I'd need a blood transfusion for so much lost blood and a doctor to check for a concussion and...and...an..a
