I was thinking of a way to get rid of mums new boyfriend when mum storming into the house with mascara running down her cheeks. She had obviously been crying.
She slammed the door shut and there was knocking on the door. I went to go answer it but my mum stopped me and placed her handbag on the table and got a tissue to dry her eyes. Just as I was going to ask what happened my mum exclaimed:
"Why did I even chose to date him?"
I thought mum was talking about dad but when the knocking didn't stop she shouted, "GO AWAY!" Immediately I knew it want dad because I remember they would never tell each other to go away even though they weren't going well with each other. This was so that they might still have a chance to get back together if they hated each other.
"Please let me in Kate. I'm really sport about last night." The voice from the door came very muffled.
I mouthed to my mum who is that.
She answered. "Steve! I will call the police if you don't go away." And with that she stormed into he room and picked up Steve's clothes and chucked them out the balcony.
"Idiot! Purposely making out with the drunk girl on the side of the road with me looking. He was purposely doing that!" I was surprised. My wish had come true.
The first part of my plan was finished.
