Newtmas AU: Broken Boys

3rd Person's POV

There are two boys. Different worlds.

Both unloved by the society.

They both made themselves look stronger and tougher than they are.

But in reality, they aren't halfway in being strong and tough.

They tried to, though.

But wait.

Let me ask a question.

What does the words strong and tough mean to you?

Does it mean you have muscly arms?
Does it mean you fight numerous boys?
Does it mean you ride a motorcycle? Or even a sports car?

What does it mean to you?

Because for both boys, it means far more than that.

It means that they are able to fight their inner devils.
It means they are able to wake up and face their dreaded fate.
It means that they control themselves in doing something against their will.
It means that they believe they got another chance.

Sad as it seems, all of those are meant for both boys.

Ever since.

They've come far. They really did. They're both 18-year-olds. And it triggered them since they're 13-year-olds.

Can you believe it?

From each others' point of view, they don't know that one of them is feeling the same thing. It almost says that they're made to find each other.

Because in that case, both will find happiness in one another.
Both will find comfort in one another.
Both will find protection.
Both will find assurance.
Both will find love.

Will they succeed in finding each other? To save the other?

Just another ordinary day for Newt. That's going to be wasted because of school. The place he despised the most out of everything.

Why?

First off, bullies. Second, homeworks. Third, social anxiety.

Life of Newt.

He was just out of the shower to dry up and get ready. He pulled out pants, a t-shirt, socks, his shoes and of course, his favorite sweater.

Aren't you wondering why Newt's wearing a sweater at a day that's 32° hot?

As you can imagine, his arms, as well his stomach and legs, are lined up with battle scars. His arms are badly bruised and cut open as well as his other body parts.

He always relapse when he is clean for more than a month or so. And his parents never gave any attention. Except when they tell him to do something he's told that also makes him a servant of his drunkard parents. Or tell him to just kill himself because he is a very big disgrace to the people.
