3rd person's POV
One went away, the other one stayed. Two persons of a different kind with such love for each other knew they were bound to be cut in half and separate once and for all.
Just a scratchy scream, flowing tears and a powerful tug from a father and mother caused it all.

Everybody loves the thing you do.
From the way you talk, to the way you move..."Newt! Come over here. I wanna show you something!" cried Thomas. They were both by the lake they've been visiting ever since. Both of them were still kids; 6 and 7 year olds.
"What is it?" said a strong British accent yet a squeaky voice. That was Newt. Thomas' best friend.
"I have something for you." And Thomas showed a piece of paper with notes he doesn't decipher and lyrics he knows meant deeper.
"What's this for?"
"It's for your birthday! Haven't you remember it's your birthday? Oh, come on!" He couldn't forget his own birthday, right? How would someone?
"Is something bothering you?" Thomas asked, slightly concerned. "None at all, I'm fine."
But Thomas isn't convinced at any cost. "Thanks, by the way for the gift. I'll keep it."
But Thomas remembers it just like yesterday's memories. He remembers how sweet-looking Newt was when they were by the lake and how little they were back then. They didn't know anything about what they are feeling towards each other.
They didn't know anything yet what they were about to face.

Everybody here is watching you.
' Cause you feel like home, you're like a dream come true...There was a banging on the door, followed by sharp cries from a baby boy, pleading and an older woman, anger running through her veins because of what she discovered.
"Thomas! Lisa! Open the door now!"
Thomas couldn't move from his place. Surely, Newt kept the paper safe from her mother's reach. She can't know it.
"Lisa!" shouted the angry woman. A little back from the door, Thomas can hear choked cries of plead ("Mom! Please, stop!").
"If you don't open this door, I'll make sure yo—!"
"Yes? What can I do for you, Winnie?" asked my mother. Thomas wondered how she'd got there.
"Go tell your son to stop talking to Newt! Tell your son, Newt isn't going to be bent and he'll be a man. A real man." What does she mean 'I can't talk to Newt anymore'?
"What are you talking about?"
"I found song lyrics,"—Thomas suddenly became deaf—"on Newt's bedroom yesterday. He said it's a birthday gift from a friend. I read the paper and knew what it means already. It's a love song. I asked him who's friend of his wrote him this and he plainly said 'Thomas.'"
