Chapter 5- So many words for the broken heart

It's been weeks since that night and since that night Nick has been extra mad. He was always known for having his tempers, but this one was an all time high. Usually Kevin would be able to calm him down or at least lessen his anger. But Kevin was the root cause of all this.

Nick couldn't wait for tour to be over. He'd be free from the boys. He loved the fans, without them he'd just be at home, thinking what it would be like to perform. He owed them the world. But he was tired. He was tired of being mad all the time and he was tired of Kevin.

He couldn't wait to be free from the hell of seeing Kevin everyday. Of course, they'd all reunite once they start to record a new album and start another world tour, Nick knew that. But now, he was just tired, and he wanted to rest, he wanted to be over this tour. A lot has happened and he just wanted to put it behind him

"You okay man?" Brian came up from behind him and tapped his shoulder

"I'm fine Rok, just a bit tired"

"Well we have a few days off before our last show for the tour"

"I know"

"Rest well Nick"

"You too Rok"

Nick woke up the next day feeling mad as ever. For the sake for everyone he would ever come across with, he decided to stay in his room and play video games.

He tried playing Zelda but he couldn't focus on the screen. He was so mad that his anger was actually blinding him. He threw the game controller and it hit the door hard.

"FUCK" He screamed.

"Kevin you gotta talk to him, he only listens to you" Brian pleaded.

"He does not listen to me"

"Yes Kevin, he fucking does"

"You two are best friends, Frick and Frack! You talk to him"

"Kevin, please talk to him"

"Fine cous, you win, I'll talk to him"

Kevin made his way to Nick's room and before he knocked he leaned his ear on the door and listened to check if Nick had company or if he were playing video games.

Kevin heard sniffing in the room.

"What the-?" Kevin thought. Until he realized that it was Nick who was crying. Why was Nick crying?

Suddenly it all came together, why Nick had been in a bad mood ever since that day and why he has been avoiding Kevin like the plague.

Nick was angry about that night, Kevin didn't know why exactly he was mad, but both of them didn't get any closure from that night.

Nick's crying got louder and louder and it felt like someone was twisting Kevin's insides. He never wanted to see or hear Nick hurt. And from the cries he was hearing, it sounded as if someone was killing Nick.

"It's your fault asshole" Kevin thought.

"But what exactly did I do wrong?" Kevin thought again.

He decided he was going to talk to Nick. He'd do it tonight. He'd do it now, but Nick was crying, and Kevin knew that Nick wouldn't want to be seen by anyone right now.

He put his hand on the door and whispered "Tonight Nick, I'll make it all better, I promise" A tear then slid down Kevin's cheek "I love you Nick, always have and always will" Kevin then turned away from Nick's room and he went back to his own room.
