Nick was finally going home, after such a long tour, he couldn't wait to finally sleep in his own bed.
Rephrase that, he couldn't wait to go home with Kevin.
The boys insisted on bringing him to the airport as they were still going to stay for a few days before continuously going home.
"You know we love you Kev, but why the hell are you tagging along with Nicky boy again?" Howie looked at Kevin
"Well, I've got some business I need to attend to, and it's near his area, and he said I'm welcomed to stay, right Nick?"
Nick blanked out for a bit. He knew that they weren't going to tell the boys yet-or rather, they hadn't plan on telling anyone at all, at least not now. But Nick couldn't help but feel like Kevin was ashamed of him or something.
"Nick?" Kevin was waving his arms in front of Nick's face
"Oh sorry, what Kev?"
"I'm welcomed to stay at your place right?"
"Of course, you're welcomed to stay until you've finished your business" Nick intentionally put stress on the word "business."
"Thanks Nick" Kevin patted Nick's shoulder
"Anytime Kev"

Kevin and Nick finally made it to their seats and despite booking tickets late, they still managed to find two seats that were next to each other.
When they were all settled Nick suddenly started sweating. Kevin noticed and he immediately took out his handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to Nick "Here, use my hanky"
"Thanks, I needed that" Nick took the handkerchief and wiped his face
"You okay? Want to turn the air conditioner temperature up?"
"No, no I'm fine"
"What's wrong?"
"You're gonna think I'm stupid"
"That isn't possible. Now tell me"
"After all these years of travelling, I'm still scared whenever that airplane starts or prepares to take off"
Kevin holds Nick's hand "Well that's not stupid at all" Kevin starts to stroke Nick's hand with his thumb.
"I'm getting dizzy"
"You should sleep"
"I'm good"
Kevin took off his jacket and wrapped it around Nick "There, now sleep"
"Kev, I-"
Kevin then took off his cap and put it on Nick's head "There, now you can go to sleep better"
"This isn't necessary"
"But I want to do it"
"Kev-"
"Nickolas, just say thank you and go to sleep"
"Thank you Kevin"
"It's no problem at all sweetheart"
"I love you Kevin"
"I love you more sweetheart"

"Sleepyhead, wake up, we're here" Kevin starts slowly shaking Nick
"We're home"
