With the newly transformed body of Brandon's slowly descending from the sky. I was left truly astonished...
There he had stood, the King of the Wolf Demons of Akadia.
"Robbedobb, greetings..."
The newly embodied beast that stood before me rested himself upon my tree. Being gargantuan in size, he had towered me by many metres. His fur was the purest of white, snowy, almost reflective. Eyes mixed with a swirl of red and white. He appeared quite beastly, however, his was calm as a monk.
He sat there meditating, awaiting my astonishment to cease from my being.
"Shaero, King of Akadia, my Grace...It's been quite some time. How in Akadia, art thou gracing us with thine prescence?" I finally had found the means of responding to His Grace
"Robbedobb... tis a tale for another time. However, I was banished by the act of an usurper."
"I see, very well" I had paused for a moment while glancing over to Megan.
To my surprise, she was not intimidated in the least. In fact, she approached him, and curtsied the King! My shocked eyes made the King chuckled.
"Robbedobb, where hath thou found such a proper lady? Miss, where dost thine hail from?"
Megan looked up at the king, and smiled. "I hail from the plane known as Earth, your grace."
"Earth thine speaks? Is that the plane my banishment brought me?" Shaero had began rubbing his paw against his beard, pondering his current situation.
"Yes, Your Grace, 'tis in a boy by the name of Brandon that you are embodied within, as it seems" I repsonded, still quite curious myself.
"Quite, 'tis interesting that I reside in the body of a mere boy. Robbedobb, I assume that this is no normal child. Would my assumption be correct?"
"Correct, Your Grace. This Child can withstand the potency of my foul prescence, apparently as well as thoust prescence." I paused for a few moments. "Would it be thine power that gives the boy his?"
"It could very well be, the miasmic mist that encomapasses my cage may have supressed me to a halt. However, 'tis still possible that it could push itself asunder enough to allow the boy to draw on. Howbeit I believe that his own power compliments with mine."
"That bit of power, that power that summoned Your Grace's prescence to us, was his accessing yours. I pray thou doth not feel violated by such acts?" I knelt down, bowing to the King. " I apologise to thy Grace, for any trepass the boy unknowingly made."
"Stand, Great Protector of Akadia! No need to apologise, no trespass was made. I relish that my power can be of use, 'tis a freeing feeling, commending the boy for such a great feat! Alas, right now he must never learn of this capability...it could very well corrupt him. Allow him to believe that he has it as his own strength untill the day. Until the day, he comes of age to truly harness the power responsibly." the King sighed, scratching his head. "My banishment shall continue further, until that day. The day he can break the spell!"
Megan was truly in amazement, "Your Grace..."
"Yes Child, what is it you speak?" The king smiled upon her.
"I am not worthy to ask thee a favor, but..."
"Ask away, Child. If it 'tis within my power, I shall grant it within these last moments we have before the miasma claims me once more."
"Yes, Your Grace. Could you keep Brandon safe in our upcoming battle? Robbedobb is certainly powerful enough, I just wish for reassurance, 'Tis all" Megan grew morose, truly worried for her friend.
"Child, thou are so young, yet so polite. Call me Shaero, and as far as the boy goes, his power and my own shall keep hime safe. If he truly requires my assistance, he will access it on his own accord."
"Thank you, your gra-...Shaero, Thank you." Megan curtsied one final time to Shaero before taking her leave.
"Robbedobb, you hath done well. These children will be the savior of many planes, perhaps even Akadia in the future."
"Your Grace, my appreciation knows no bounds for thine gratitude i have received." I noticed the miasma is beginning to claim Shaero once more.
"Until the next, robbedobb. I do wish to regale in sharing tales with thou. Most quite...this one." Shaero dissapates away as the purple and black mist brings forth Brandon's body to us.
Megan approached me, "Robbedobb...How-"
I interrupted, "It appears Brandon is coming to. Fret not Child, that will be a Tale for another time."
Megan smiles, "It appears that the King enjoys your tales, I look forward to hearing them."
"As you wish dear, but come now we have more preparations at hand." I beckon her to join Brandon and I for a rest at my tree before sending them to their home.
