Brandon and Megan made their way back onto the plane of Earth, waking up in their fully rested bodies. Further waiting until the moment they have to shift themselves into the plane to protect everyone.

As Brandon and Megan rise from their astral adventure, they had immediately began preparations for the upcoming conflict that soon will take place at their establishment of learning; well, of course, after a hearty breakfast. Especially when this meal consists of: meats, eggs, french toast, with hasbrowns filling the stomach of the two extraordinary children.

After completing their meal, the children washed their plates and began planning out their battle. As they proceeded to the Trees of Old, I made a mention to Brandon:

"Little one, I am required to show you two information of much importance."

As Brandon stopped, Miss Megan had already known.

"Robbedobb needs to show us something, doesn't he?" She paused for a moment, then resumed. "Where do we need to go?"

"Where do we need to go Robbedobb?"

As I responded to Brandon, I nudged his head towards the pond to their right. "Over there, Child."

"Hey, Megan, We are going over to the pond." Brandon looked over to the pond and sped off to the pond.

"Hey! Wait up!" Megan yelled attempting to catch up with Brandon

They ran and ran down the hill until their frail bodies could run no more. At the bottom, a lake met his gaze.

"Is this where we were supposed to go?" Megan asked Brandon. Brandon was shocked she had to ask.

It was here that I materialized in front of them.

"Yes Little Ones, there is someone whom you should meet."

"Yes, Robbedobb, you indeed should introduce me to your little friends." As her voice came and gone, the color of the entire area enveloped in the colorlessness of sepia. Time itself stopped, it was just her and us.

It was beauty in it's entirety: the ivory porcelain like skin, the jet black hair darker than that of ravens, and her skin tight cocktail dress that opened from her bosom and sloped over to her left thigh following down to her ankle. Her doll like face was almost impossible to not be entranced by her seductive gaze. Not a single detail has changed since I last seen her. however that was quite a few centuries ago.

"Lady Raven, I would like to introduce Megan and Brandon. Little Ones, this is the Lady of Ravens"
"Robbedobb, my my, you have not changed at all since we last seen each other. You are still quite handsome." The lady made her quips, but no matter, I find it amusing.

As I chuckled, I had given a gaze meeting hers. To avoid being ensnared in her own gaze was difficult, I will admit.

"Now then... that is the Robbedobb I am more... familiar with." She giggled as the little ones possessed a rather perplexed look. Lady Raven and I continued our plan of action, whilst chuckling to ourselves about our more...personal history.

"Anyways Robbedobb...now that we have pleasure out of our way, I presume that there is a favour you would like to ask?"

"Correct, my Lady, there is an enormous favour to be asked. It is imperitive that we arrange your assistance."

"That is?" She asked whimsically. Goddesses and their ways...

I took a knee and bowed my head to her, appeasing a goddess in such a way allows great favours to be granted.

"Lady Domina Corvesque, Lady of Ravens. We ask for your assistance to aid us in our endeavor to save this realm of Earth. Aid us in stabilizing...Ultimo Tuenda..."

Her eyes widened greatly, "You. Are. Serious?" After a brief pause. "However do you propose doing so to power such a spell?"

I simply pointed at Brandon and told her, "The Little One, his innate powers and his own conscious capability will be able to power the spell as exponentially however needed."

She blinked her eyes at me several times, "I sure hope you understand what you are attempting to pull off." After yet another pause, she resumes. "I forget, you seldom miss a detail. I have made my decision, I shall assist in your endeavor. I rather like Earth, as well as the adorable children whom you keep company with. Your requested favour has indeed been granted...Robbedobb" As she departs, she sends a wink to me. It appears that I shall have to make yet another visit to her soon, it has been quite a long time since I have seen her last.

Time had resumed to it's normalcy once more, it is at this point I tell the children, "I have an idea, little ones. You two need not worry about a plan and preparation for now. Allow it to wait until tonight. Until then, enjoy the rest of your day. Be children now, and protectors later."

I simply cannot allow them to just be adults and ruin their childhood innocence. A balance must be kept, especially for Brandon's sake. They smiled and ran off doing what children do best.

Play.

The day drew to an end when the sun was enveloped by the Earth. In turn, the Moon rose, taking it's place in the sky. Brandon and Megan returned to his Grandmother's house. Megan had became one of the family. Her Father did not mind, and strangely, neither did Brandon's Mother. His Grandmother had prepared another great meal. They quickly devoured their portions, and swiftly tucked themselves into their bedrolls.

"Brandon, can I talk to you about something?" She whispers to him.

"Well sure, of course you can."

"Well...we're going to see Robbedobb for more training and preparations for this battle, right?"

"Yeah, you already knew that though, was there something else you were thinking about?"

"There is...He is going to help you be able to use your power...As much as I should be happy, I'm terrified. Terrified of losing you to it..."

"Megan, you know I'll make it through this. Besides... If I did lose myself to this, you can always find a way to fix it." Brandon chuckled softly and smiled at her, putting her mind mostly at ease.

"There's one more thing... Just in case something happens that can't be fixed."

"What is it?" Brandon lifted his head and looked at her, their eyes meeting each others.

"Well, we've known each other for a while. Been friends awhile for that matter...It's just... It's just I like being around you. I feel safe. Really safe. Most of all, I feel happy. I guess I'm trying to say is that...I like you. I-I-I really like you a lot."

Brandon's face was astonishing, never had I seen the culmination of emotions hit a human more so than struck Brandon. Striking deep into his core, into his soul, everything had became real in that moment.

"R-r-really?" His speech impediment came back with the strongest of swiftness.

Megan had giggled as she looks to brandon. Then what she said next had warmed my very being.

"Okay Brandon, I believe you, we will get through this together." Megan relaxed herself, "Let's go see Robbedobb now."

"Yeah, let's get ready to save our home." Brandon responded falling asleep instantly.

"Okay Brandon, if only you knew how much... I love you..." She whispered falling fast asleep.
