"I hope you brought something sexy to wear tonight," Layla said, excitedly.
"Um...no, why? What are you gonna do to me?" I questioned, kinda scared.
"I'm not gonna do anything except let you borrow clothes and take you to your first party here," she smiled sounding proud of herself.
I just stared at her. She couldn't be serious. I'd told her what happened last time I partied. I ended up shit-faced drunk and fingering some random girl and sucking some guy off.
"Oh don't worry. You have me and I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you," Layla said, taking my hand.
I don't know why, but knowing that made me feel better. Dang, why did she have to be sexy when she said that?
"Ok fine, you can dress me how you want," I murmured.
"Yay!!" she said, running to her closet.
We walked into the party and everybody stopped talking to stare at us. I even heard a few guys whistle.
Layla was sporting a short black maxi dress with black knee high stilettos. Her hair was down an pulled up on the right side with bobby pins. She had taken the time to curl it after she did mine.
As for me, I was wearing a way too short for my liking blue and silver maxi dress with black stilettos. My hair was down and straightened. Layla had applied pink sparkly lipgloss to my lips and light blue eyeshadow as well as my usual makeup because she said it brought out my eyes.
Adding to that, Layla had been holding my hand since we got out of her car. I didn't care; her hand was so soft and it gave me a little sense of security.
When we finally got through the door, Samantha, who I recognized from history, ran up to us.
"Heyy girls, enjoying the party?" she asked,but I noticed her glaring at our joined hands.
"Yeah it's a miracle I talked Kaylin into coming," Layla joked.
"Wow. I took you for a party kinda girl," Sam said to me.
"I'm jus not used to so many people," I lied.
She stared at me like she didn't believe me but brushed it off and took a big gulp from the cup in her left hand.
"Come on babe. Let's go get drinks," Layla interrupted.
