<Sam>

I'm so glad I decided to throw this party. It's just what I needed to put me back on my feet.

The alcohol in my system gave me the confidence I needed with Kaylin. Layla disappeared with some guy anyway.

"Heyy goregous!" I whispered in her ear a I wrapped my arms around her waist as she danced.

She glanced over her shoulder at me and smiled. Damn, did he have to look at me that way? She stopped dancing and turned to face.

"I need more beer," Kaylin said, motioning to the kitchen.

"Me too!" I said back following her.

A guy was standing next to a giant keg filling people's cups.

"Hey baby wanna meet me at my truck in a few minutes?" he flirted with her.

"uh no douche bag," she hissed.

"Well at least let me get your drink," he smirked.

"I can an will get it my own drink," Kaylin glared.

She pushed around him to get our drinks and he grabbed her ass. Before I could stop him, Kaylin had him on the floor with his arm behind his back begging her to let go.

"Come one Kaylin, we don't new anymore alcohol anyway," I said, pullin her off of him before she broke his arm.

"Fine", she said," but if you ever come near me again you'll wish I only broke your arm."

I pulled on her hand until we got into the other room. Her muscles were do tense that I thought she would never let me go.

"You wanna dance?" I murmured.

"Yes," she whispered, pulling me ino the crowd.

I turned to face her but she turned me back an put her hands on my waist. Ok I can dance this way too.

We grind to the heavy dub-step beat. Every time I felt her breath on my neck, I felt a longing that I had to ignore. My heart was racing and I couldn't do this forever even though I wanted to.

Right as I started to get tired, a slow song came on. Despite the "boos" from the crowd, I was soo happy. Kaylin turned me towards her and I put my arms around her neck as we swayed to this new rhythm.

"I like this," I whispered loud enough for only her to hear.

"I know," she said smirking at me.

I just stared at her. There was absolutely no way that this girl could know I've been crushing on her.

"How?" I questioned.

"I could see it in your eyes," she mumbled," and... I kinda thought about it too."
