_________________________________"Woah wait," I shouted after Jameson as I sprinted to catch up to him, his sudden speed catching me off guard. "Where are you off to?" I asked him, at a loss of breath.
"An urgent guardian meeting," He informed me, looking around frantically, barely focusing on me as he answered my question.
I frowned, "What's going on?" I asked him, a pang of fear hitting me.
Jameson turned to look at me and finally noticed me. Then, sighing at the expression on my face, he said, "No one knows, it wasn't planned." Jameson told me and I could almost hear the terror in his voice. But Jameson is always calm. So why falter now?
I opened my mouth to speak but Jameson interrupted me by turning me around by my shoulders.
"Look, there are your friends," I spotted Saph running after Avery and Cassie who had their arms linked. "Go join them and stay out of trouble." He told me and I scoffed. I turned around to throw him a snarky remark but he was absolutely nowhere in sight. Jesus, that boy is fast.
I ran after the girls, keeping my bag steady on my shoulder as I moved. It was a damp and murky Monday morning, and I was supposed to have Maths next; I guess I should be kind of pleased that I escaped that.
"Cassie!" I shouted and all the girls smiled when they saw me. Avery waved around at me, just before I slipped on the wet tiles and collided into them. We laughed for a while and I swear I felt my eyes water as my stomach ached from laughing too hard.
"Girls," Some random guardian approached us, silencing our giggles, "Dorms, please." She shooed us off and we stumbled away, erupting into more laughter, clutching our stomachs as we chuckled.
We decided to crash in Cassie's room since it was the quickest room to walk to—it turns out that Saph also has a long way to walk to her dorm, except not as long as my walk, proven by the fact that her room is in the girl's corridor.
I had sneaked a little peek at the room before, but once inside the dorm, the view was much better. To separate the room, they only had different colours of walls and different decor, no wall; no door.
The room was a little cleaner than I had seen before, but I did recognise a few clothes—that belonged to Cassie—strewn along her guardian's side of the room. I next noticed that everyone else had made themselves at home on Cassie's floor and so I decided to plop down onto a bean bag.
Whilst the girls began discussing what to eat for dinner, I pulled a magazine out that was wedged between the bean bag and a chest of drawers. I laughed when I saw the front.
"You really don't like Madonna, do you?" I joked whilst showing the girls the front cover. Cassie blushed as she recognised the scribbles on Madonna's face.
She snatched the magazine from my hand and began flipping through it. "There's a page in here that I wanted to share with you guys.." She wandered off as she turned page after page.
"Maybe a page that's actually in the magazine." I pointed out jokingly as she rifled through the pages. Saph snorted and Cassie rolled her eyes.
"Ha," Cassie shouted and I jumped, dropping a lipstick that I was looking at. "Got it!" She showed us the page and we laughed.
"Wait, so you think that girl looks like Eden?" I asked Cassie through laughter as I pointed to her scribbles. Cassie nodded her head, unable to speak through her fit of laughter.
