I listen to Joe ramble in the kitchen, probably looking for food. It's not late and I guess that's his reason for slamming the cabinets.
The slamming stops and I hear footsteps until they're near me. I shut my eyes tightly, pretending to be asleep. I can hear a low chuckle as he turns the tv down.
"Who sleeps like that?" He questions.
"Me!" I defend, forgetting I was supposed to be asleep. He chuckles, running a hand through his black hair.
"They kicked you out?"
"Pretty much."
There's awkward silence and I want to say something but what?
"Come on, let's go in my room."
"Huh?"
He chuckles again, rubbing his neck. Is he..nervous?
"Well I'm playing the game and I have snacks. So come on, let me kick your ass."
I laugh, standing up. Gaming is my thing, I doubt he could even beat me.
"If I win, you kiss me." I say, smirking.
"If I win...I don't for three more days."
"Good luck with that, lover boy."
He picks me up, bridal style, and carries me to his room.
If everyday could be like this, I'd never want to leave his apartment.

It's four in the morning and I'm kicking Joe's ass. He keeps swearing and throwing the controller.
"Shit. Its late." He groans. I yawn, putting the controller down.
"I'm pretty tired. I guess I'll leave you be, you have work in some hours." I say. My weak legs hold my body up and I could fall asleep on the spot.
"I owe you a kiss."
I laugh, blushing lightly.
"I-you don't have to."
I want you to.
"But I want to.."
He stands up and I stare up at him. He looks beautiful in the dark. His lips brush mine softly and my hormones rage.
Kiss me kiss me kiss me kiss me.
Our lips connect and I instantly reply with grace.
A few minutes later he pulls apart, resting his forehead against mine.
"You're so beautiful.." He whispers. Our hands connect and my breathing hitches.
"Please kiss me again."
"Will you stay with me tonight?"
I nod and he smiles. Our lips connect again as we crawl into his big bed.
I let him wrap my legs around him and rub my lower back.
How long before he pushes me away again?
