After having a great breakfast/lunch, I head home, wishing I didnt have to. A week or more at Joe's house. Why me? Does my mom even love me anymore? I pack some clothes and items I'll neeed for staying at Joes house, Davie doesnt want anyone in the house while he's not there. Stupid, right?

My mom says its only right, his house; his rules. What about our old house? With our old rules. What about me? I pick up my phone and dial Dads number. What about him?

"Hello?" He answers.

"Hey, Dad. Its me.." I say. He knows who it is without me even telling him. I'm his only child.

"Hey, you okay? You dont sound so good."

A small smile takes over my lips, he's concerned.

"I miss you dad.."

That's when the tears pour. No one ever asked me about how I took the divorce. It hurts. They just decided they weren't right for each other after twelve year and they didn't care how I felt.

"You better not be crying, she wanted what she wanted. I'm still Dad, don't worry. How's..the guy?"

"Arrogant. Annoyingly wealthy. Mom doesn't cook anymore, we eat at fancy restaurants."

"Blah, I dislike him already. I'm kidding, try to make the best. I'll send you some things from New York. What are you doing now?"

"Packing, they're going on a vacation type thing and I have to stay.."

"Hmm...that's stupid.you're family too..just make the best of it. I'm always here, if you want to come back. Lizzy's mom bought me tacos for dinner yesterday, that woman can cook."

I laugh, Lizzy's mom promised to keep Dad well fed. She's doing great but who's going to take care of him when he's officially living in New York. There's a knock at my door, removing me from my thoughts.

"I have to go, love you."

"Love you too, sweetie."

I hang up as Luke enters my room, a huge smile on his face.

"We're gonna have a huge sleep over with every type of food that bastard owns. Are you READYYYY?!" He screams. I laugh, drying my little tears away. This might just be a great couple of weeks.
