"(Your Name)," Jordan called you while using his laptop from one side of the room. You were on the other side, laying on the bed and reading a (book/magazine).
You grunted and continued reading (book/magazine). Whatever you were reading, it was apparently very interesting.
Noticing how fixated you were in what you were doing, he tried to call you once again. The man saw you look at him for a quick second before you continued reading.
Jordan mumbled under his breath and put away his laptop. He walked over until he was just standing beside you as you turned a page.
"What are you reading?"
"(Book/Magazine Name)."
"Why are you so into it?"
"It's cool."
The man wasn't contented by your absentminded answers. Heck, he wasn't contented by the fact you weren't giving him any attention today!
Your boyfriend prepared some extra videos so that he could spent some time with you and this is how you'd treat him?
Not that the narrator may sound like they're guilt-tripping you, but just saying.
He huffed and sat beside you, you not minding the little disturbance. You were too focused on the book to really care.
"(Y/N),"
"Yes, Jordan," you emphasized his name, showing that he was getting on your nerves.
"Do you love the book more than me?"
You immediately put your bookmark, placed the book down beside you and wrapped him in a tight embrace.
"No, of course not! Why do you think that?"
You looked at him and saw Jordan giving you the "Really?" face. You giggled and kissed his cheek.
"Sorry about earlier. It's just that I haven't read something good in a while and this is the new (book sequel/magazine issue)!" you beamed excitedly.
He sighed and kissed you on the cheek, in return.
"I understand, but do tell me if you're going to spend your tine with an inanimate object rather then your boyfriend," he joked.
You laughed and snuggled closer to him.
"I can continue reading later."
