The city of big dreams but no one to carry them. It reminded me of myself.
The surprise was Autumn and I being able to go on an all expense paid trip to the city of New York.
Due to me being lucky enough to land a career in the beautiful place that we might just call home.
"Bye Mom and Dad! We'll visit for halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, birthdays, and I'll call!" Autumn cried out as everyone in the airport around us stared.
"Thank you for everything Anastasia and Romeo, I'll take care of Autumn. She'll be safe with me." I smiled hugging them tightly.
"Flight 719 To New York, Boarding!" Someone shouted loudly while Romeo wiped Autumn's tears away.
Taking Autumn's hand in mine and saying our final goodbyes, We walked to our flight port.
This was the beginning of a new chapter.
