They were both the star students of their grades.

He ruled the eighth grade and Evaline ruled the seventh.

"Don't you think he's a bit too old for you?" He turned to Evaline with a scrunched up face.

She shook her head, "He's only 14." She grinned wildly before walking up to the boy with the slick hair and sly smile.

"He's older than I am, He's basically an old man!" Nathanael screeched as Evaline walked proudly down the academy hallway.

He couldn't always be overprotective but he had to be when her boyfriend of six months had finally asked her to sleep over his house.

Technically, The boy's sister was put up to the scheme but Nathanael knew that a guy and his girlfriend wouldn't just be sleeping.

Evaline had asked and their parents agreed to let her go.
