CRAZIEST STORY - Chapter 3

Finally, Sunday arrived. I was really excited to talk to my Besties after so many years and also for the trip. We are finally going! I was jumping around in excitement and Leslie kept laughing at me. Later I turned on my computer as I couldn't wait any more. I logged into Facebook and opened our group page - The Besties...

After about half an hour, the group chat box pops up. I see there's a text from Niharika saying "Hi"

I replied "Hola"

"Where are others?"

"Would be online any moment". Just then we received texts from Sonali, Kajal and Unnati. We asked each other how's life going on and remembered few events from the past when we had great fun. Then I said "Okay girls, we have gathered here to discuss about the pact which we had signed..."

Unnati said "Yeh! I'm so excited to meet  all - my mummas and my bachcha :p"

i say "Yeh. So where do we wanna go???" All of us came up with variuos places - London, New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Madrid, Cuba, Switzerland, Paris, Los Angeles and for sure Miami!!!

Kajal said "Okay but we need to short list. We can't visit so many places!"

Sonali said "Yeah right. But we are goin to Las Vegas and Miami FOR SURE. Get that?!"

Unnati: so where do we go first?

Nihu: i guess we should wind up with london, madrid, paris and switzerland first.

Kaju: i suggest we go to london and madrid. 

Sonali: yeh great no probs! :)

me: okay so we are goin to london nad madrid!

Kaju: so what next? where do we go next?

me: i suggest we go to miami after visiting all other places. is it okaey?

Sonali: yeah great! i really wanna spend more time there! after all it's my hubby's, my sweetheart's city!

me:  better be careful lady. before he is mine! :p

Sonali: yeh. let's see...

Unnu: okay mummas stop! he is my daddy! give me a chance to speak too....

Nihu: hehehe okay girls, back to the discussion please! so next can we go to new york? plz plz???

me: okay.

Kaju: yeh that wud b better.

Unnu: okay so after NY what's the next destination?

Sonali: vegas! vegas! las vegas! plz! plz!

Nihu: okay! 

Unnu: next destination would b hawaaii pleseeee!!! thoda relaxation bhi chahiye na!!

Sonali: u are still the same!! hahha

Nihu: okay! so till now as we have planned, we re going to london, madrid, new york, las vegas, hawaii. 

Kaju: so now finally to miami or wanna go somewhere else?

me: i suggest finally to miami coz i can't wait now! i wanna meet my hubby!

Sonali: yeh me too. hehehe. and aishu....... HE IS MINE!!!

me: okay bba we will see it later.

Unnu: so where should we meet then?

Kaju: directly in london.

Nihu: yeah that would be better. when?

Sonali: next sunday??

me: yeh. okay. fine with me.

Nihu: me too. i'll have to go shopping.

Unnu: yeh! bikini lena padega! ae tum log bhi leke aao ha?! aishu.... samjha na??

me: hehehehe lol! samjha! anyways girls, i have to go now. can you all give my your contact numbers??

Unnu: yeah sure.

We exchanged our contact numbers, I said "Bye" and logged out. I went to see Leslie. He was watching tv. I sat at the other end of the couch.

He said "So? What's up?"

"We are goin next Sunday. We are goin to several places!"

"Wow. That's great. So where you going?"

"First is London, then Madrid, New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and then last... Miami!"

"Wow! You people gonna enjoy! Have fun!" i smiled. I could feel the sadness in his voice and happiness at the same time.

After some time I went to my desk. Went through the results of my experiment. After examining properly I found out the mistake. After winding it up, I started making the list of things I would be needing for my trip. I started planning out for the week. I had to do some shopping too.

We went out for dinner to our favourite restaurant. We had chinese. It was a treat from my side. Then we had some ice cream and then went for a walk at the beach. 

The next day at the office, I explained my colleagues about the mistake and we started off making corrections. In the free time I searched about various places we could visit in London and Madrid. I left early from my work as I needed to do some shopping. I bought some jeans and few tops for myself. Some shoes and ear rings too.

I came back home at around 8 pm. Leslie had prepared dinner. This had become my routine for the rest of the week. 

By Friday I had done all my shopping and was ready to pack my stuff. Leslie helped me in packing. He had booked my ticket. My flight was at 6 pm on Saturday.  Next day I woke up early. I made tea for myself and I was sitting on the dining table. After some time Leslie came out. He said "Good morning"

I turned round and said "Morning" and smiled.

"So, excited about your trip?"

"Oh yeah!"

"Great."

"Hey, would you come early from office? I want you to drop me at the airport"

"I am coming! Rather I'm not going office today! I am spending the last day with u!" i smiled at him.

"Thanks! You are the best friend anyone can have!" 

We saw our favourite movies and got our food from the restaurant nearby. At 4 pm we left to go to the airport. We reached the airport on time. I took my bags out of the car and put it on the trolly. I turned to Leslie and said, "I'm gonna miss u! Take care of yourself, okay? Do call me."

"Yeh sure. I will. You too take care. I'm gonna miss you too." We hugged each other and said goodbye and went through the airport doors. I turned round and waved him. He stood there standing waving me goodbye.
