CRAZIEST STORY - Chapter 4

After finishing all the checking procedures, I sat in the waiting area for my flight to get announced. I was reading my book when a guy came and sat beside me. I looked up at him and then returned back to my book.

After some time, the guy said, "Hi!" I looked up and said "Hello" He saw the book I was reading.

"You from India?"

"Hmm yeah."  

"Me too." I smiled.

"I love the country. Well I’m from India too."

I smiled and said "Okay". He kept talking but I was partially listening to him! I just couldn't stop thinking about the trip. I wanted to get on the flight and fly away to London. I was getting more and more excited.

After about 25 minutes, my flight was finally announced. I was excited - excitement on its peak!!! I turned to him and said "Hey, my flight's announced. I gotta go. Bye!"

"Mine too." and he smiled. I picked up my bag and moved towards the exit. 

I was finally on my flight. I was much happier than ever. I found my seat - a window seat. I kept my hand bag in the shelf above and settled down. I was looking out of the window and imagined the kind of fun we would have. I could see the whole scene of all of us having fun, doing all crazy things! I had a big smile on my face! Just then I sensed someone sitting in the seat next to mine. I turned round to see. It was the same guy I met at the airport. This time, I said "Hi" first. He looked round and smiled and said "Oh hi!"  

"I thought you were on the other flight that was announced!"

he laughed and said "I thought the same too." i smiled.

There was silence then for some time. Everyone around us was settling down, the airhostesses were helping the other passengers. The airhostess then gave instructions for tying seatbelts and soon we took off.

"So, u going to London...." he said.

I turned and said "Yeh it seems so" i smiled and he giggled.

"Well, I am Arnav"

"I am Aishwarya"

"I couldn't wait for the flight. I'm too excited to meet my parents again after about 10 long years!"

"Oh! That’s too long. You were in Los Angeles for studies and then job?"

"Actually, no. I have been in Los Angeles only since a year. Earlier I was in Miami."

"Wow! Miami??!!! I always wanted to be there! Its a very special place for me!"

"Really? What's special?"

"A very special person to me stays there"

"Oh. It’s a great place. I always enjoy there." I smiled.

"Don't make me jealous!" He laughed.

I asked "So what do you do these days?"

"Well, I am an event manager. I organize various gigs."

"Oh. Nice. So who are the stars you have worked for?"

"Well, it’s a long list.... Chris Brown, David Guetta, JLo, Beyonce are few to name with."

"Wow."

"What about you?"

"I am a research scientist at Heathman Pharmaceuticals."

"Great" My throat was drying now. I called the airhostess and asked for some juice. I asked Arnav if he wanted anything, he said no. The airhostess got a glass of juice for me.

Arnav asked me "So u going London for?"

"Well, I am gonna meet my best friends after almost seven years! And we planned a trip to various places. And our first destination is London."

"Oh. Nice. Hanging around with friends is always fun. I always enjoy when I have my friends around me. Even I haven’t been out for a while with my friends. May be even I should plan something." i smiled. We talked for a while. I was a bit tired now and sleepy. 

I woke up after an hour. I opened my eyes. I realized my head was on Arnav's shoulder. I lift my head with a jerk. He was sleeping but he woke up as I got up. I said "I'm sorry about that"

"Oh that's alright. Actually, you were nodding vigorously and that would have sprained you neck so I rested your head on my shoulder."

"Oh. Thanks." I smiled.

"You look fresh now."

"Uh - yeah. Actually the week had been very hectic in the preparations for the trip. And plus work load."

"Hmm." I was hungry now. The airhostess was moving around with a tray. She had sandwiches, tea, coffee, fries, burger etc. I took a cup of coffee and a sandwich for myself. Arnav took a cup of tea and a burger. We chatted or sometime.

Soon we landed on the London airport. We got off the plane, collected our bags and moved towards the exit.

He said, "So time to leave. Had a great time today."

"Yeah me too."

"How long you gonna be here in London?"

"Well probably 2-3 days but not sure. Our stay could extend."

"Okay. Enjoy yourself. You and your friends would have fun."

"Yeah sure we would." We called for a taxi, said "bye" to each other and left.

after searching for about 30 minutes, I got a hotel with 2 rooms. I booked them for us. Our room was on the 7th floor. The bell boy took my luggage and led me to my room. The room was beautiful. The view from the balcony was amazing. I texted the address of the hotel and the room numbers to the girls and went for a shower. I was jet-lagged. I slept for some time.

I woke up after half an hour. I decided to call up the reception and get some information about the places that we could visit. At 11 am I got message from Unnati: 

Landed on the London airport. Will reach hotel in some time. 

I was happy that someone arrived or else I would get bored. Some time later I got a message from Niharika. She too said the same thing and also Kajal and Sonali were with her.
