I woke up to Michael jumping on the bed. This little kid has too much energy.

"Wake up," he kept on jumping. I groaned when he dropped on my stomach.

"Ah Michael," I sighed and sat up. He smiled and got off then ran out.

I smiled and got up as well. As I did, I felt a slight wind. But the window was closed. This wind was different; it felt strange and unsafe. I hurry up getting ready for school. Then I went downstairs and ran into the kitchen. I stopped right in the doorway and stared.

"Oh honey good morning," my stepmother smiled. "Oh, this is Mr. Hays, his Michael doctor." I glared.

How could he? The bastard. Why is he here?

"Hello, Blake nice to meet you," he offers his hand. I shook it, and when I did. He squeezed my hand too hard. He smiled. I pulled my hand away. Why was my father here? My mother doesn't know his my biological father, does she?

Of course, she doesn't, when one is sometimes adopted the parents don't ask where the child came from, right?

"Anyway sweetie hurry up and eat," I nodded. Michael sat next to me. I smiled. My father just looked at me. Then to Michael. He wouldn't dare hurt him. I won't let him. Sure I'm following his orders to grab Ceres, but he better not harm this family. I hate father. But then again, what can I do? "Oh Blake I'll be home late can you pick Michael from daycare." I nodded.

My plan will work. Ceres won't resist an adorable little boy like Michael.

"Well I should get going, tomorrow Michael will have his check-up," my father said.

"Yes thank you," my stepmother just smiled. If only they knew what kind of a person this doctor was. I'll have to go with them to make sure he doesn't hurt Michael.

After he left, I felt relief who knows what his plan is. He could have a dangerous strategy. If only I knew what. Not thinking about it I finished eating.

"Well I'm leaving now," I said and rushed out the door. I didn't want my mother to kiss my cheek or anything like that.

I walked down the street.

"Hey big brother," I groaned seeing Kitty jumping from tree to tree. "Daddy visit your step mommy."

"Yeah, I saw," I tried my best to ignore her. "Why?" I asked.

"I don't know," she was lying. She jumped down and stood in front of me. "Even if I did, I wouldn't tell you, ever. "

"Whatever," I kept walking.

"Just finish your job!" She gets on my nerve.

When I arrive at school, I felt calm. And I spotted Ceres I waved at her as I went her way. She just shook her head.

"Nice to see you too," I chuckled.

"What do you want Blake?" She walked away. I follow behind.

"Was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?" I asked.

"Ha, no thank you," she glared.

"Come on," I sighed. "It would be, you and I, and my little brother." She looked back at me.

"You have a little brother?" She frowned. "Didn't know you where the brotherly type."

"I'm adopted," now why did I tell her that.

"Oh, I didn't know," Ceres looked down. "Okay fine, after school then."

"Good," I smiled.

I got her now. I walked to class. Today I'll get her to like me.
