Lately, I have been hanging out with Blake a lot. He invited me over for Thanksgiving. But I couldn't go. Though he said, Michael made me a turkey drawing. And Michael wants to give it to me in person. He's such a sweet baby.

And I'm happy dad spend Thanksgiving with us. But sucks uncle Kenny and Andrew didn't join us. Kenny was away, and Andrew went to get him. But all was good. And we back to school.

"Where is she?!" I jumped as uncle Kenny hugged me tightly. "Are you alright? What happened?"

"Nothing," I said. "Why?"

"Andrew said something happened to you?" Kenny said.

"Nope," I smiled. "He overreacted." Kenny looked back at Andrew. Andrew just whistles.

"You made me miss some quality time with my friends, for nothing!" Kenny yelled.

"Whoops," Andrew smiled.

"Whoops won't save you," Kenny smacked him. "You're sleeping on the couch."

"What no baby?!" Andrew went after Kenny.

It's good to have him back. And it's good to have my father here with us. But I wonder where he went?

"Mom where's dad?" I asked.

"He had some work to do," she said. "He'll be back soon."

"Okay," I smiled. It was Saturday, so maybe I'll go out. "Mom, I'm going out."

"Alright just be careful and don't be late," mom said.

"Okay," I smiled.

I slipped my shoes on and grabbed my sweater on the way out. It was cold outside. But I love winter and the snow. I smiled as I walked down the street.

"Ceres!" I looked back and saw Blake with Michael.

"Oh Blake," I smiled and grabbed Michael. "You shouldn't have him out. It's cold outside."

"I know but mom out," Blake said. "She's out with the lawyer dealing with some paperwork."

"Oh," right forgot, Blake's stepfather passed away.

"So what are you doing out here?" He asked.

"I'm just taking a walk," I said.

"Ah, well mind if we join you?" He asked.

"Nah," I smiled.

Blake tag along with Michael. We walked around for a while until Michael sneezed. Blake invited me over to his house which was close by so I accepted. His home was decent and warm.

Once inside, I set Michael down. He runs over to some toys. He's so, cute.

"Want something to drink?" I nodded.

It's the first time I been to Blake's house. And it felt nice. I don't know why dad or everyone is so cautious around him. Blake isn't so, bad his sweet.

"Here," Blake handed me some hot cocoa. He even handed Michael some. "Careful Michael it's hot."

"Hot," Michael giggled and went back to his toys.

"Michael seems to be attached to you," I said. "And he looks like you."

"Eh?" Blake frowned. "I'm adopted you know. His my stepbrother."

"I know," I smiled. "But Michael looks like you."

"Weirdo," Blake chuckled.

I wonder, why he doesn't believe me. Can't he see how much Michael looks like him? They have the same nose. It's just like a miniature version of Blake.
